LISTEN TO THE WITNESSES

Yes, listen to the dozen witnesses who swear they saw Ed Walters' Styrofoam model floating in the sky over Gulf Breeze.

UFOology is full of people who will see something then say anything.

Why do you dismiss the witnesses that saw planes and flares?

Also, Lynne Kitei is a joke. You can't be serious offering her crazy talk as evidence surely?

Thats her!!! That looney said the lights came to her home for a visit or probing or some wild something.

Because the air force had to come up with a story in order to quell the issue...flares was nothing but a cover story to get this ufo issue off the publics minds and out the news papers. Typical procedure for the military when they dont have control over their sky's . Who ever said they saw airplanes dropping flares were NOT real witnesses of the actual event.

How do you explain why the video looks exactly like flares being dropped from a plane and disappearing behind the ridge?

The witnesses who saw and heard planes were not sure force personnel. One witness who claimed to see a giant craft actually described individual lights without realising it.

The people who say it was a giant craft tend to be hysterical and not open to discussion. That's not the case with those who saw and heard planes and flares.

What absolute nonsense. I showed you a slowed down version of the video you claimed was one giant craft. When slowed down, its easily seen that those lights are definitely not one giant craft but individual lights falling behind a mountain.

It's clear as day in the slowed down version. You can't seriously be suggesting that those obvious flares are a giant spaceship. If you think that, then you need to get your eyes checked.

Why would they need to "quell" the issue?

Why tho?

Conjecture. We hear about air space violations all the time on an international level. Do you honestly think that something of the magnitude of ET craft in US airspace would be able to be hidden from public view for very long? (Hint: It wouldn't). Invoking Ockham's Razor, the most simple explanation (without introducing any new variables) is likely the most correct (and it was already presented): flares.

Or maybe they were?

First off did u see jets in the footage i posted?....No

The phoenix lights happened on one night...not 2 and footage of the jets dropping flares...that was a day time footage and the airforce made that footage after the day of the phoenix lights....

Your still not listening to the witnesses in the post

Why would they need to "quell" the issue? because the public were bit frighten by this craft and its size and fact that it flew so dangerously low over the city, the military was flooded with calls on what the heck was going on

Or maybe they were? listen to the witnesses in the second video that i posted

They were slow-falling flares.

Eyewitness testimony is not foolproof. Do you know how terribly unreliable our brains are? We are susceptible to psychological bias, false memories, and memory loss. Don't try to pull an argument from authority on me, either.

The objects behave like slow falling flares.

The U.S. military explained that they were flares.

They were flares.

Irrelevant. You said "Who ever said they saw airplanes dropping flares were NOT real witnesses of the actual event."

https://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/news/the-phoenix-lights-are-no-mystery-6661825

Under magnification, Stanley could clearly see that each light split into pairs, one each on the tips of squarish wings. Even under the telescope's power, the planes appeared small, indicating that they were flying high. Stanley says he followed the planes for about a minute, then turned his telescope to more interesting objects.

"They were planes. There's no way I could have mistaken that," he says.

So if you can't see something in a dark sky at night, that means it's not there?

The footage I saw was at night at was proven to be flares. An investigator put a camera exactly where the video had been shot and drew a line along the ridge on the monitor. When he played back the flare footage, every single flare disappeared when it reached the line on the monitor absolutely proving that these were flares falling from above.

But hey, keep listening to your confused and hysterical witnesses. That's all you have in this case.

yep exactly.... plus, if this were something truly strange happening in the night sky there would have been thousands of reports flooding in... but there were not... no surprise there- same as all the other rubbish of this nature!;)

So you think the little microphone on a consumer-grade video camera from the 1990's is going to pick up the sound of a jet thirty miles away?

Why?

And when do they produce these sonic booms, ufoguy? How often do you hear these "sonic booms", ufoguy? Every time you see a jet flying in the sky?
