Firefox and Java question

Recommended Posts

Bendy Demon

Ok..so I have windows 10 and 64 bit version of FireFox and I decided to download Java from java. com  only to see a message saying that 64 bit Firefox doesn't support Java.

Ok then...so do I even need to download Java? So far I have not encountered any issues.

Thanks

You don't really need it for websites with the advent of html5.

I see. Thank You

That said, I also find that a lot of sites are still using Flash; some of the sites I like to go to -such as Albino Black Sheep. Com- to look at the animations but those are Flash based I can't play them and I am not gonna download Flash just for it to be killed off in a couple of months. Hopefully that will change.

Thanks again for the help :)
