Can you describe the picture?  It looks like some product in a plastic bag.

Well yeah you grow chicks... they grow into chickens. Chick starter grower is food for baby chickens (chicks), just like puppy chow is for baby dogs and kitten kibble is for baby cats.

Manna Pro is supposed to be a pretty good brand- the stuff in the OP is more specifically to help muscle development for raising meat chickens.

Yeah I know the quality is bad, it says Chicken Starter Grower.

That sounds like chicken feed, not chicken "seeds".

Why is this in the joke section?

Good question. I'm going to guess that the OP does not know about animal husbandry, so it seems funny to them?

And a better pic of the product for folks that are interested...

I read some of the post and wonder exactly what was going on.

For what it's worth, google can do a lot to clear up misunderstandings.

Well, it's in jokes and humor so assuming the OP just found the verbiage funny lol

Medicated, eh? With what?  *snip* If so, those are the ones I want. Not only are they gonna be not so stressed out, but they gonna be eating good and laying some delicious eggs!

Medicated means with amprolium- it's a substance used to help reduce the risk of coccidiosis.  Coccidiosis is a parasitic disease of the intestinal tract.

Back in the day of side shows there were usually the pay extra acts near the end and a popular one was the amazing the terrifying man eating chicken.

Of course your extra $ was paid for a joke,  inside was a man, eating a chicken dinner, as the crowd might get testy after being taken with a ruse the clever talker would soothe it by saying why not trick your friends into seeing it too, which of course brought in more $ for the side show.

Its all about the showmanship!
