On Wednesday (October 7), federal environment minister Jonathan Wilkinson announced the list of single-use plastic items the Liberals plan to ban in order to achieve zero plastic waste by 2030. Items to be banned are: plastic bags; straws; stir sticks; six-pack rings; cutlery; polystyrene takeout containers.
