jethrofloyd Posted October 11, 2020 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2020 Well, i don't know if this thing was ever mentioned here at the UM, but I found this place both intriguing and eerie. Patomsky Crater. A 40m high crater in remote Siberia. Discovered in 1949, geologists have been studying it for decades, But, they still don’t know how it was made? There are several theories as to how Patomskiy Crater could have been formed. Some believe (although that theory is quite far fetched) the crater is the impact crater of infamous Tunguska Explosion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patomskiy_crater https://united-cats.com/2014/05/28/patomskiy-crater-a-real-earth-mystery/
