Susanc241 Posted October 15, 2020 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2020 (edited) Myself (UK) and my sister (Australia) were doing our usual FaceTime session when the audio was interrupted by a cat meowing, plus some scrabbling sounds - at least that was what it sounded like. It was loud and intermittent for the first 10 minutes of what was about a 45 minute link up. It was definitely coming from my audio on my iPad and my sister said the same from her end. We could both hear it the same. Neither of us has a cat and it was too loud to be outside of our respective homes. Can someone in the know explain to me if it is possible to have crossed lines, like it used to happen on old telephone landlines? If not, what might have been happening. I stress, this was not a paranormal event and I am looking for a technical explanation. Thank you.
