An alleged name for a person some 140 years before Herodotus and from a language that is otherwise unevidenced as having been known to him. Sounds more like fiction.

Hi Docyabut

We have been here a long time so I am thinking that we should throw a little panache into the mix and do some role playing. I will pretend that I am you and give you the same links and comments and you pretend to be me, Cormac. Swede, Kenemet, Noteveryonecanspellyournamewhentheirdrunk or some of your other detractors. To be fair I know that you Like other contributors and will give them the same allowance of credibility that you do and I want you to refute my claim. :D:tu:

Noteveryonecanspellyournamewhenthey'redrunk

It's careless typos like this that undermine the team effort to keep Atlantis hidden.  "They" are getting so, SO close to the truth that we can't afford a single mistake from now on.

The only reason we keep attacking Dopeybutt's Tartarsauce=Atlantis nonsense is to distract from Kojak's correct discovery of Atlantis under Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.  If Dopey realises this she might tell everybody and our 5307-year mission to conceal Atlantis will have failed.  (Like that lot in The Last Crusade, keeping the Holy Grail secret.)  I don't know why we have to keep it a secret but it's obviously important.

So remember - proofread before you post, and never, EVER, mention Las Vegas again.  Got it?

I believe that the pyramids in Mexico and some of those in Egypt are related to the Atlantis advanced civilization.

Of course you do. I would be disappointed if you didn't. The minor detail that the Mexican pyramids were build after Plato isn't important is it ?

I can spell here name, and even better when I am hammered.

I always kind of translate her username into, I "do see ya, but". Meaning, I know where you're coming from, but now this..." And the 2 at the end stands for her second incarnation on this site.

I have no fking clue, hahaha!

Hi Abe

I think Docyabut is what her dad said to her like to doc is to take away from. I tease Noteverythingisaconspiracy every now and then because his name is so long and if I’ve had a couple it gets worse with cap locks.

No because I believe they were built during the time of Atlantis.

Doesn't really matter what you believe. Real World evidence says you are wrong.

Kind of you to make sure we know you don’t know what you’re talking about. And you might be racist, suggesting native folks couldn’t build the edifices they clearly built themselves.

You know, I know Rojack is talking from where the sun doesn't shine, but why pull the racist card again? You tried that with me, weeks ago.

And failed.

And then this: of what 'race' where the Atlantians? If there ever were Atlantians, they may have been Native Americans. 'Injuns'.

Then what,eh?

I did not know there was enough real world evidence to prove that Plato's story is untrue. I thought it was all guesses and speculation. The idea that Atlantis was a real place came from Plato, who was a highly respected scholar. He described terrain features we can still see today. On the other hand, those who don't believe his story is true, are basically saying they can tell what Plato was thinking. Plato's manuscript is more important than some trying to guess at what he thought. That is the side of the story I am trying to tell.

There is is exactly as much as there is to prove that JK Rowling's stories were untrue.

;)

Of course, you may also believe that Hogwarts is real?  :unsure2:
