China's veiled threat to Canadians

Eldorado

Recommended Posts

“We strongly urge the Canadian side not to grant so-called political asylum to those violent criminals in Hong Kong, because it is interference in China’s domestic affairs, and certainly it will embolden those violent criminals,” Cong said.

“If the Canadian side really cares about the stability and prosperity in Hong Kong, and really cares about the good health and safety of those 300,000 Canadian passport holders in Hong Kong, and a large number of Canadian companies operating in Hong Kong, you should support those efforts to fight violent crimes.”

When asked if his words were a threat, Cong reportedly replied: “That is your interpretation.”

Don't worry: The Canadian government will stand up to it's principles, and IMMEDIATELY capitulate to the Beijing dictatorship !

What does it say about a nation when they trye to force people not to leave by trying to intimidate other nations from taking people in?

Similar to the Berlin Wall. The CCP is in good company I suppose :innocent:

@Manwon Lender @JVG

Why did you guys like this post? I'm honestly baffled.

Do you guys think Canada should not offer aslyum to Hong Kongers? And do you think it's morally right for China to be threatening nations in an effort to stop people from leaving?

Or do you guys just enjoy unrelated comments about race?

This gibberish is relevant to Canada allowing Hong Kongers to immigrate how?

China having to force people to stay in their great nation looks pretty bad. It's pretty much a softer version of the Berlin Wall.

Who's stopping anybody?

They're free to go anywhere as long as they satisfy immigration laws. Just same as it is with any country with laws.

Canada is just being informed that major numbers of these 'political asylum seekers' are violent criminals, just a head's up.

Or another way to say it, don't say we didn't WARN YOU

:)

You learned to spell gibberish correctly, good for you, you look just a little smarter now. Now do you have any idea what it means?

Is that because curling does not have a multi million dollar media deal in China?  I hope you are right though.

Yes exactly lol :innocent:.

No I think they won't buckle because no other nation has buckled their Hong Konger asylum offer from China threats yet. So if Canada did it they would be the first.

Why do you even bother attempting to talk reasonably with him.  He can't stay on topic, reply with logic or think straight when it comes to China.
