Still Waters Posted November 14, 2020 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2020 You thought Jurassic Park was just a movie? Well, you might be forgiven for thinking dinosaurs still walk the earth after seeing footage of a ginormous alligator roaming on a Florida golf course. Spotted at Valencia Golf & Country Club in Naples, Florida during tropical storm Eta, the gator was seen prowling a tee box by Tyler Stolting, a professional at the club, on Wednesday. The sheer size of the animal had many on social media questioning whether it was actually real. https://edition.cnn.com/2020/11/13/golf/alligator-florida-golf-course-spt-intl/index.html Quote A viral video of a huge alligator strolling on a golf course in Naples, Florida, has left many people questioning whether it's real or not. So we asked gator expert James Nifong from the University of Florida's Croc Docs to weigh in. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-us-canada-54937355 3
TigerBright19 Posted November 14, 2020 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2020 Looks fake. The detail on the gator is too crisp and clear while the foreground and background are blurry. Considering that it is coming from CNN and BBC there seems little doubt that it is fake. Probably a PR stunt made by the golf course to boost sales, just like phony ghost stories reported by hotels struggling for business.
