Can we still land humans on the Moon by 2024?

I'm a bit concerned about that there might be safety incidents caused by that people don't really want to go to the moon, they want to go to Mars, and just see going to the moon as a necessary, but not as exciting, step on the way. That might lead to people not being cautious enough.

They are professionals, they will do their job and most, if not all, of them see the Moon as the logical stepping-stone to the Planets and beyond.

At this rate, I don't think the US will recover from trump, the economy, covid, racial and class tensions... by 2024. China, EU, Russia, Japan? Some Dubai billionaire? Musk? You guys better take over the moon.

Going to be difficult since we have potential changes in administrations every 4 - 8 years. This administration wants to go, the next one says not say so fast.
