I had first tried this in another browser and the content section was not visible, so I am glad that I am not trapped with a supposed mobile version that requires me to type my whole post in a tiny description box, which was the first impression I was under... But maybe the browser or my cookie settings were not compatible... This makes me happy. I like this large workable type box much better. As you can tell, I hate technology.

From the looks of it, people are briefly stating their interests. I cant wait to talk about ancient civilizations, secret societies, pets, general chit chat, media criticism and analysis, psychology, philosopy, sociology, biology, and history. (:

secret societies, ...... media criticism

Is this to be interpreted as you believing in the deep state and a global MSM conspiracy?

No. I have my own independent theories. I am an independent. Am I sensing an introductory skeptic and hateful judgment from you having unwavering political opinions that you must immediately attack me for upon walking in two seconds ago?

Welcome to the forum!  We do have a thread just to talk about our pets and several for the other things you mentioned.  Well, the media criticism seems to happen mostly in the political section.

I suspect if you thought @zep73 was being rude or hateful, you will not last here very long.  He is not hateful.  He asks questions as do I.  It's not a good idea to take offense when someone asks a question.  Either answer it or ignore it.  There are people who will thrash you for your beliefs, and that is their problem, not yours.

I had seen that there was a pets section. I also noticed a few other casual and paranormal sections. I have not been to the photo section quite yet.

Not taking offense. I believe you misinterpreted my answer. It just seemed slightly off kilter to be introduced with a direct political question that immediately refers to one of the most heated arguments on the internet, which people get extremely sensitive over. I can last anywhere I want just so long as I would like. I know the internet very well. I have met many types of people and sorts of interactions and am very talented at reading profiles and in between the lines sorts of comments. Passivity is also easier to tolerate on the internet, but extremely common. I dont mind either talking civilly or arguing. I have done both but none of those feelings are negative or uncomfortable to me. I feel very comfortable expressing myself and talking either civilly, casually, or arguing. It is all alright with me. There is healthy anger and unhealthy anger.

Welcome.

I'm interested in the societies that are genuinely secret and that nobody's heard about, not even their own members.

Have you ever heard of the "Invisible Anti-human Alone Together Humane Society" that post on the surface web in places like Twitter and Whatsapp? I heard they were undetectable and completely unknown... But you didnt hear it from me because I didnt hear about it.

My bad. I had someone just ask me about the deep state moments before you wrote that, so you must have triggered a reflex. Being independent can be a struggle and a half when you are commonly misperceived.

I appreciate curiousity. It is a great trait to have.

No problem. You asked me if I had ill intentions, instead of assuming it. That's a good thing.

Welcome to UM, smanthaonvaca. :tu:

BTW..... Are you ok? You look a bit pale.

I actually laughed pretty obnoxiously at this comment... I should probably change that. I have been slacking.

I am a mix of values that overlap between parties. Independent is a party, but I dont really want to be assigned to one. I originally was unaffiliated but switched my voter reg so many times and now i'm just unaffil again. You can register as green, dem, rep, indep, unaffil, birthday, pizza, libertarian, socialist...

Ah.................you are American. You people seriously need to stop defining yourselves by your political affiliations. Or lack thereof,

Anyways, UM.

Why do you define yourself politically in an unexplained forum?

There are people who unknowingly help secret services in their work. Those people will die without even knowing that (there may be exceptions). The name of those secret networks is kept secret (by a few privileged people).

Spies must be quite interesting people.

There are people who I know that have done that. Some actually confess to it, but its not too difficult to catch them if you really wanted to try. I actually know quite a few of them... Yet they do have an idea of what they are doing, so it may be a little different from what you're talking about?

Unfortunately they are car sabotaging, gossiping, passive agressive type people. I think they should be exposed to the people they ruin the lives of. You sound like you are talking more along the lines of a spy being regarded as wholesome. I was actually considering starting a thread about something of similar topic but more about computers and the internet.

Generally when people ask me questions about my political views such as you and zep did, I dont really mind answering. It may have thrown you off that i didnt know how to quote a reply yet? Idk haha. I will not usually bring the topic up at work, when meeting new people, or when trying to relax with friends. I will have civil convos with people that dont mind doing so, but ive never been attacked at random by so many people while out in public or doing work as I have been in the past four years. Our political climate here has changed so drastically... Sometimes when I would just go somewhere to grab food, the food attendant would start questioning me and other customers about politics, but they were absolutely not in a good mood and were trying to prove a point to their coworker. Things of that nature.

That's odd, I was actually thinking about how people label and define themselves with political ids earlier. I find it very sad that people allow one whole quality or viewpoint about themselves and their life to become their whole identity. There is much more to a person than just their political label. Yet with extremism and politics being such hot topics, i often see that people become very centered on one argument or idea that they are defending, and they forget about themselves as an individual and become collectivist in a defense for someone else, sometimes completely leaving themselves behind. I think people are deeper than that but sometimes dont tune in to that ability?
