President Trump and the Trumpists

Grim Reaper 6

Recommended Posts

This thread is based upon a 11 paper that discusses, first what a Trumpist is, and how that name has been applied to President Trump and the legacy he has kept behind. It is very interesting to realize that other countries have had the rise and fall of the Trump style of politics, and why this political style has been named after Donald Trump.

Strange personalities arise in the cracks of disintegrating institutions. They are often marked by extravagant dress, inflated rhetoric, and a show of sexual power. The first Trumper of the postwar era was the Danish tax rebel, Mogens Glistrup, the founder of the nationalist Progress Party, who, having put his principles into practice, went to prison for tax evasion. Geert Wilders in the Netherlands and Boris Johnson in England are hairstyle Trumpers. Pim Fortuyn and Jörg Haider were both dandies. They died in their finery. Beppe Grillo, Nigel Farage, and Jean-Marie Le Pen, are each one third of a full Trump.

Oh, old Mogens would have been proud, to be mentioned in foreign countries :D

He really just was an eccentric tax rebel and a racist. But we liked him, because he was so odd. A bit like Boris Johnson, but much more goofy.

That's probably the narrative the OP wants to push about the BOM.  Has been, loser, etc.  First, Trump hasn't lost nor has Biden been elected until the EC votes.  SURE, he probably will succeed in stealing the election but those who make deals with the devil, tend to not quite read all the fine print.

Antifa, the 21st century version of the Hitler Youth, are actually threatening violence against Conservatives if the BOM doesn't concede.  It doesn't take much imagination to see where that could go.

That Orange Idiot rhetoric is going to ring a bit hollow if he takes his case directly to the people who voted for him, shows them the EVIDENCE that their legislatures or courts refused to acknowledge, and takes the Populist message to the next level.  They could actually create the monster they've lied about for 4 years.  ;)

I'd love to see him form his own party and push a REAL resistance message of change against the obvious corruption in DC.  It would be the kind of comeback victory he has pulled off many, many times in his life.

I know you most likely have not read the paper, but is acedemic and very interesting I would recommend it. I have a number of Acedemic Peer Reviewed Papers and articles from the demise of the Republican Party caused by Trump, through Trumps racists Birther Conspiracy that he promoted from 2012 until 2019. I will start threads on all these papers to give forum members a chance to read how Trump is viewed in the Acedemic Community.

Thanks for post man, .I appreciate your comments and your thoughts on the subject, but hey read the paper:angry::P:lol:

Oh and by the way, Ian expecting a backlash for doing this but, it is important that these and other views are brought out into the open,in my opinion, so to me it's worth it!

There's always soooo much to read, especially if you're a sci-nerd like me. But I will have a look one of these days. Right now I'm too tired.

You're a damn nutcase.  Trump has lost, Biden has flipped Republican states with Republicans running the election who have said there has been no widespread voter fraud.  You don't need fine print.  Trump is your gospel, in all caps tweets.  If Trump says it, you believe it!  No proof necessary!  You're a sad old man, seriously.  Trump told you the election was stolen.  No one else will agree with that.  Not his lawyers, not conservative talking heads, no Republican representatives, only Trump.  YOU STILL CAN'T POST ANY PROOF of fraud, yet, you are convinced because your daddy who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, who lied and cheated his way through life while never working for anything he received, who's business ventures outside of his daddy's real estate business all failed told you so.

So you're gonna call Biden/Harris "The Juice" too?

This quote from the article summarizes the author’s intention:

“Globalization favors the equal access of everyone to worldwide markets. It has no use for national citizenship or national citizens. Another moral system is at work. Cultural re-education is required to erase traditional solidarity and replace it with a morality of equal access and equal opportunity regardless of status (such as “race, creed, and national origin”). Justice is served as soon as market access is equalized.”

This has been the goal of Marxism/Communism/Socialism ever since Karl Marx wrote ‘The Communist Manifesto’. What Mr. Streeck is proposing is just another attempt to convince the world that Marx’s ideas will work this time, if only the capitalists can be re-educated, and if the world can be naively persuaded into believing that an ideology that has utterly failed in every nation it’s been attempted will be successful this time around, simply because we’re told that it will succeed.

Any of you who care to really understand the STANCE being taken by Conservative Trump supporters:

Ignore it at your own risk of being blindsided in the coming weeks.  Again, if you think it's silly or stupid, that'd be YOUR OPINION.  Tens of millions of Americans will view this and decide how to proceed in a country where media and one corrupt party have stolen an election and are laughing in their faces while they do it.  The best antidote to this kind of sleaze is for a new party to be born from the ABJECT COLD FURY of citizens who know they were cheated.  No violence necessary at all.  :tu:

I'm going to, in general, have to agree. The fact the Democrats STUNK so bad on the House and Senate elections, as well as at State level almost everywhere, leads me to believe the Dems simply came out in greater numbers then they usually do.

I think this shows the result was more anti trump than anti republican. I think the socialist attack worked at the senate / house level, but Trumps character overwrote it at the presidential level.

That's a bit tasteless isn't it ? Pim Fortuyn didn't "die in his finery", he died in a business suit, murdered by a left-wing environmentalist. And Jorg Haider died in a car crash.

i don't really care about recount, the election was ran by a foreign company, that also ran maduro's and chavez's elections, where they won,   i reject the results just based on that.

With Biden's lead in AZ now down to 4k, which should cause a recount and audit.  And with the current lawsuits, Trump has a good chance to flip at least one state.  No, that one state won't make a difference in the EC, but it will give the public pause to look more closely at the other states.

Raven...you know that's not true, right?  6,000 fraudulent votes were not found in Arizona reducing the lead to 4,000.  I mean, you do realize that was a fake report from Twitter, right?  I need to hear you say it.  Are you really falling for this false information, or do you actually know better, but feel the need to try and sow doubt in to others?

The lead in Arizona is still 10,000 votes.  If you dispute that, post proof.

You're a damn nutcase.

Then waiting for an investigation to establish a lack of cheating should be no problem, right?  I mean, we just went through 4 years of things being investigated so what's a few more weeks?  I'm beginning to notice that it's the Left who are coming unglued as more information keeps bubbling to the surface.  Why is that, YOUNG MAN?  Seriously, why is it such a problem for you folks on the Left to grasp the concept that if there is significant doubt in the integrity of our most crucial national bond, that it is necessary to clear that doubt away before the next election?

Whether you and others choose to look at the evidence being presented or not, the evidence IS there and it will be presented.  If enough legislators in states that had the most "irregularities" are convinced of the cheating, Biden will be unable to have 270 certified for his campaign.  At that point, the election is decided by a single up/down vote in the U.S. House of Representatives.

I have no ultimate faith that Trump will prevail but this exercise in presenting evidence will still be a valuable tool in building up a base of supporters for a possible new party.  So, relax, have some turkey and pie with your family - if your Stalag Commander allows that - and watch the national drama unfold. ;)

They actually DO believe their media as though it was the gospel.  If Trump's team pulls off a win I think they will do themselves a harm.  Meanwhile, this old nutcase is going to enjoy the Civics lesson. :tu:
