I've met people from Japan, Nepal, Arabia, Europe and South America who read that in the equivalent of High School. It my case it was not an assigned reading but something encountered in the library. Certainly agree that it is a great read, one of those that is difficult to put down. Yes, that story has stuck with me for many years, I introduced it to my wife and she used it as a advance reading for non-native speakers - oh, warning don't see the movie - it interjects a romance into the plot and it is just terrible. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
