Hi Sherapy

Where I am living now I see that as more prevalent than I did back home because I grew up in the bible belt although some wore that belt a little tighter than others especially on Sundays after a Saturday night of sinning.

Ha ha ha ha ha well the ones I know took the belt off all together, across the faiths.

It would make a great book of quotes, the things I have been told.

Best when despatched and told with a smirk and that dreaded eyeroll...

I don't understand what you are asking.  It is like asking me if i am, "willing to step past my dog construct"

Hi Walker

You said these bits so how do you reconcile real with imaginary.

know they exist.   god is just a name humans give to a wide category of beings

Imaginary or real,

I know dogs exist and have known many but have never met your god That neither one of us thinks is a god and only one of us believes it's real so I don't have a problem for not having your god construct as real entity but you make a distinction that I would like you to develop and express properly for the sake of discussion.

Forgot this wasn't your thread so may take this up there as we are not asking an atheist

Sorry, but i still don't understand your problem.

Real exists outside my head, with elements  like perception also existing inside my head. eg my wife, or my dogs,   or my "god"

imaginary exists totally within my head   eg my 3 breasted amazon alien :)

It is absolutely easy and simple to tell the difference.

If you dont believe my god is real, and i know its real, then NEITHER of us BELIEVE its real  :)

What distinction  are you talking about ?
