Shivel Posted February 17, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2005 At the risk of sounding like a complete dork, I think thats actually a tigon. A liger looks more like this:

ALNA70 Posted February 17, 2005 #8 Share Posted February 17, 2005 I live in Michigan and a few years ago, we had quite a few sightings of not only a Liger, but a black panther roaming around not 3 miles from my apartment. Nothing ever came of it, but the idea was still interesting and exciting.
Cattalina Posted February 17, 2005 Author #9 Share Posted February 17, 2005 Oops. I forgot to mention that the pic doesn't show a LION/tiger mix, but a LEOPARD/tiger mix.

AnimangaBloodThorn Posted February 17, 2005 #12 Share Posted February 17, 2005 (edited) Whoa! Those are some nice-niced chompers, no? These pics seem more real to me than the other for some reason. Of course, I don't know that much about altering pics. Nor do I know that much about Ligers. Have they become their own breed? I know, I'm full of stupid questions at the moment. Please forgive me? They are nifty looking creatures though. Edited February 17, 2005 by AnimangaBloodThorn

ManInBlack Posted February 18, 2005 #23 Share Posted February 18, 2005 link showed partial picture. i don't agree with cross-breeding tigers and lions...it seems unnatural, and i think, is very different from what nature intended for these animals
