59% of UK believe HM Tory Gov is corrupt

Eldorado

Recommended Posts

A survey by pollsters Survation found that 59 per cent of voters think the government’s “high priority” lane for friends and associates is corrupt, while just 16 per cent think it is not.

In November the National Audit Office revealed that Boris Johnson’s government had set up the fast-track lane “to assess and process potential PPE leads from government officials, ministers’ offices, MPs and lords”.

For those on the list, the chances of success when bidding for a government contract were one in 10, compared to just one in a hundred for other suppliers.

Of 1,200 central government contracts – worth £16bn in total – handed out by the government during the pandemic, around £8bn ultimately went to companies run by friends and associates of Tory politicians, or to those with a history of controversy or no previous experience, a recent analysis by The New York Times found.

They’re not Comnunists, they’re vulture capitalists who want to be classical royalty, immune from criticism or rebuke from the great unwashed and above question.

com nun ists  :P:lol:  makes sense.  They're Communists, because both Communist and capitalists work together for a new world order.

Communism pretends it is the enemy of the rich capItalists, but both the rich elite and the communist
leaders are committed to wipe out Christianity, to wipe out free trade with monopolies, and to set up
an Illuminati One-World-Government.

Do you understand this? spent 30 years to rich this point without reading this book.  I find it funny how it says what I have researched to reach the conclusion I did.  Just wish I read this first.

A government that is not corrupt is like a summer with hot sunny days and gentle rain at night,  a car that needs no maintenance, ever, and an entirely stress-free job that you thoroughly enjoy every single day and which pays more than you want to earn, for less hours.

Edit: a government which is not inept is, however, much more common ....

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/blair-accused-of-cronyism-over-public-posts-553097.html

"Tony Blair was accused yesterday of presiding over a "culture of cronyism" after reports that ministers have defied the rules on public appointments."

Dame Rennie Fritchie, the Commissioner for Public Appointments, revealed that four ministries have refused to obey the rules on appointments to public posts, drawn up to avoid the jobs being awarded to political allies of ministers.

Sounds familiar.

Matt Hancock acted unlawfully when his department did not reveal details of contracts it had signed during the Covid pandemic, a court has ruled.

A judge said the health secretary had "breached his legal obligation" by not publishing details within 30 days of contracts being signed.

The public had a right to know where the "vast" amounts spent had gone and how contracts were awarded, he added.

David Cameron 'texted Rishi Sunak for Greensill Treasury loans'

David Cameron sent several text messages to Rishi Sunak asking him to approve hundreds of millions of pounds in loans to a company he advised, it was reported last night.

The former prime minister was alleged to have sent a series of messages to the Chancellor’s private phone in April last year to lobby him over loans to Greensill, which went bust this month.

Mr Cameron was an adviser to Greensill at the time and it is claimed that he had share options believed to be worth up to tens of millions of pounds.

Most of his texts to Mr Sunak went unanswered, The Sunday Times reported.

Corruption in Britain has reached new heights under Boris Johnson’s government

The David Cameron lobbying scandal is just the latest example of how the UK is becoming a corrupt country of the kind it once regarded with disdain.

Boris Johnson’s government has been accused of corruption, privatising the NHS by stealth, operating a “chumocracy” and mishandling the pandemic and climate crisis, by Sir David King, a former government chief scientist.

A while back there were calls to save liberty steel, funded by Greensill, as it would be a disaster if an important industry was lost.

Liberty Steel: Government must step in to save steel jobs, says Ed Miliband.

The government should step in to save Liberty Steel, says shadow business secretary Ed Miliband

"He said the situation was "urgent and worrying" and nothing should be off the table, including nationalisation, to save thousands of jobs in a key strategic industry. "

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-56437665

No worries there about how the money could be raised or the use of appropriate vetting.

But then -

Liberty, owned by Sanjeev Gupta, sought a £170m bailout from the government to safeguard its workforce of 3,000 UK employees, but was rejected amid concerns of the opaque structures used by and the potential loss of taxpayer money.

So despite calls from Labour to throw money at Liberty the Gov said no.

Then there were calls to investigate the potential funding of Greensill by the ex PM.

"In a letter to the Cabinet Secretary Simon Case, the Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, Anneliese Dodds MP and Rachel Reeves MP, Labour’s Shadow Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, ask for a full, transparent and thorough investigation to be launched into Greensill’s links with the Conservatives."

https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:b-5q4MpgqekJ:https://labour.org.uk/press/labour-ramps-up-calls-for-investigation-into-greensill-affair/+&cd=13&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk

The implication is links with the conservatives would make Greensill unsuitable for a lone.

Its entertaining to see Labour riding two horse's at the same time. ;)

Save Liberty  yes but no ...

Tories are your upper echelons of society, not the the riff raff and stamp lickers.

Middle Class and upwards, although many working class voted for them this time around to get Brexit done.

Boris Johnston is the riff raff.   He would rugby tackle a schoolboy just to score a goal.

BLM founder is branded a 'FRAUD' after buying a $1.4 million home in an upscale mostly white enclave in LA

Can you explain this then please.    A marxist buys 1.4 million home.   I thought this was only capitalists that did this why marxists hated capitalism.

Yes, saw this earlier. Wonder what the people that donated this money thought it was going to be used for?

You will find that alot of that money was given to BLM via George Soros a marxist paid by a capitalist Rothschilds?     George Soros was asked once why he did what he did, he said someone had to to do, if it wasn't me it would be someone else.  This implies a system and order followers?   Is BLM just another Tory or labour following orders, if it wasn't her it would be someone else?
