A Soul At Peace

Awakened on the tide of dawn
All that we see, is but a dream
To be assured of nought endured
Or so it seems and yet unsure

To drown beneath the flood of truths
In swirling mists of tortured breath
By light of day the world perceived
To swim the raging seas of life

On rising tides of languid thoughts
In blind solace on serene shores
Where crowds of memories there flock
That soar the fiercest battles fought

Alas by night refuted wisdom
That ripples through a dormant mind
Lay calm be soothed thy beating breast
Asleep to be in silent bliss

Blessed be those who tread beyond
To he or she who doth foresee
The unstifled beauty that dwells within
Revealed unto a soul at peace
