zep73 Posted December 31, 2020 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2020 I got the idea for this thread a while back, while watching The Boys, but dropped it because I thought it was too silly. But now it's New Years Eve, so I figured 'nothing's too silly for New Years Eve', right? So here we go: The We Didn't Start The Fire challenge! In this 1989 song, Billy Joel sums up about 50 years of American and world history. The challenge is to make your own (funny or not) verse about 2020. (Or as many as you like.) Looking forward to enjoy Your creativity! Ozymandias Posted January 15, 2021 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2021 With 2020 hindsight we left that year behind Our unseen Covid killer played havoc with our minds. Our lives have changed forever, too many now have passed, Our friends and neighbours distanced, the human touch outcast. The bars and restaurants empty, the streets deserted all, The old folks miss the wee ones, and screen-time takes its toll. But now we have the vaccines that viral bug is done Let 2021 roll on and let us all have fun!
