There is no change for the rich, they continue to do their business as usual or even easier. The losers are the common people on both sides of the channel. For students, exspats, tourists, guest workers... it will be much more difficult. Alone the need of a passport is very uncool. When I was on a short trip to England in May 2019 the customs officer looked at my ID-card for less than 1 second and now I need a passport with stamps and all this? Never had one since the 1980s and it surely costs more than € 100,- to get one. It would be ok for the US, Australia, China..., but for the UK? Come on, that's crazy.
