Congress ban for terms like 'mother' & 'son'

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Rules Committee Chairman James McGovern (D-MA) declared on Friday, December 31, that gendered terms, such as “father, mother, son, and daughter' will be eliminated from usage as part of their “future-focused” proposals that form part of the new rules for the 117th Congress.

“This package, which will be introduced and voted on once the new Congress convenes, includes sweeping ethics reforms, increases accountability for the American people, and makes this House of Representatives the most inclusive in history,” said the House Committee on Rules in a statement.

The domesticated canine associative representatives requests that the human cohabitation planning Council seriously reconsiders current toilet conditions that is provided which unfairly favors only the felines.

You can always ask your close perimeter birth disabled parental unit for help.

To be serious - although the subject makes it hard - silly rules and laws can be made, all they like, but the people dump them.

They are treated as they deserve: Jokingly

You don't have to be conservative to think like that.

Depends on the household, some just refer to them as the being(s) upstairs who keep feeding them, pays the electric bill, and keeps them online so they can argue that is what the Government should be doing for them for life.

So if there's legislation sponsored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving, so some such organization... What words are the going to use?

This is MORONIC. But then, I'd expect nothing less from Pander-to-the-far-left Pelosi.

Really does make one wonder how conversations are supposed to be held in the future if this kind of lunacy becomes the new standard...

Is there any limit to the amount of words those on the far left will ever be against banning...even for the public someday?

Or will they be cool with some "Demolition Man" setup where microphones listen to every word ever said and give citations on the spot

Those words aren't offensive. It will only make conversation more ambiguous and easier to take things out of context. They love blowing small things out of proportion though so not surprised.

I also won't be surprised if its yet another thing they don't follow through on because realistically nobody cares that much.

“...in my view, it is equally erroneous to hold that the common four-letter words are necessarily indecent in every context...and hold to that they can never be indecent at all.”
