Eldorado Posted January 7, 2021 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2021 An arrest warrant was issued Thursday for outgoing President Donald Trump in connection with the killing of an Iranian general and a powerful Iraqi militia leader last year, Iraq's judiciary said. The warrant was issued by a judge in Baghdad's investigative court tasked with probing the that killed Gen. Qassim Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the court's media office said. They were killed outside the capital’s airport last January. Al-Muhandis was the deputy leader of the state-sanctioned Popular Mobilization Forces, an umbrella group composed of an array of militias, including Iran-backed groups, formed to fight the Islamic State group. RoofGardener Posted January 7, 2021 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2021 (edited) ROFL An Iraqi court has issued a DOMESTIC arrest warrent for Donald Trump ? Talk about vacuous virtue signalling ! What is the court trying to achieve ? Win brownie points in the eyes of Iran ? Edited January 7, 2021 by RoofGardener

Talk about virtue signalling ! You know what would be real funny, if after Trump was out of office if they caught him outside the US. I bet President Biden would just leave him there, you know it is US Policy not to deal with Terrorists and since Trump sent the Domestic Terrorists to the Captital today, he is not only a Seditious Insurrectionist, he is also a Domestic Terrorist. So I kind of think the fact that they issued a arrest warrant for him is poetic justice. Because President Bidens new AG who will be appointed as soon as President Biden takes office has already said that President Trump must now be prosecuted for Sedition and Insurrection. If what happened yeasterday had never happened Trump would have walked free, well now there is no chance of that at all.

The very same person that the republicans blocked from becomming a supreme court justice. As Alanis Morrisette sang "Isn't it ironic"
pallidin Posted January 10, 2021 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2021 (edited) As much as I hate what Trump has done, be aware that, by law, he will be afforded a lesser but still potent Secret Service protection for 10-years. He does possess certain secrets in his deluded head. Edited January 10, 2021 by pallidin

You know, people threatened all SORTS of legal action against Trump after the 2016 election, for all sorts of reasons. They noisily waved their avadavats at the press. But here's the strange thing. Once the press had left, the lawsuits just kinda disappeared ? It was almost as though the threatened lawsuits never had any merit, and where only noisily threatened to get some newspaper headlines ? Any attempt at prosecuting Trump for Sedition or Insurrection would fail absolutely. Because here's the thing; he never incited anyone to either of those. There is zero evidence against him. Methinks the AG is just virtue signalling. Another 'legal suite' that disappears as soon as the press do. Yes, but would anyone be able to distinguish which were actual secrets and which were his own deluded ramblings?
