Twitter has permanently suspended over 70,000 accounts since Friday in an attempt to clamp down on QAnon-fueled conspiracies on its service, the company has announced.

It says the accounts were “engaged in sharing harmful QAnon-associated content at scale and were primarily dedicated to the propagation of this conspiracy theory across the service.”

At the same time, prominent conservative voices on Twitter complained about lost followers.

totally agree, these people who think their right to speak dribble is being taken from them, have every right to establish their own platforms and present their dribble there.

Restriction of freedom of expression?

Germany tried to express itself, look what happened with that idea, WW2.  So if 70,000 Qanon's can't express themselves, well we are in WW3 after all.

and should stop blaiming companies who follow their own business conditions

Companies don't follow their own company rules as much as the Government rules set out for businesses to operate.

https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/46/contents

The rules that companies have to follow are very many.

However who holds the power, the company or the people?

No-ones stopping them - let them set up their own platforms - establish their own rules since they can't follow the rules of the platforms they are on.

I'm sure the banks and sponsors will be tripping over themselves to fund it.

Bankers are Communist, plus they're reeling in the money now.    Things are never going back to the same ever again.

https://www.technocracy.news/mozilla-joins-big-techs-purge-of-free-speech/

Mozilla, the non-profit company behind Firefox browser, has joined the fight against free speech, motivated by the narrative about what happened at the US Capitol on January 6th. In tandem with other tech giants including Facebook, Twitter and Google, the CEO of Mozilla Mitchell Baker called for “more than de-platforming”.

The “siege” against the Capitol – which mostly amounted to a group of dressed up LARPers walking around after being let in by police – prompted the failing web browser brand to claim:

“Changing these dangerous dynamics requires more than just the temporary silencing or permanent removal of bad actors from social media platforms.”

Deleting free speech leads to these kinds of changes doesn't it?:unsure2:

The newly defined goals of the company include exposing who advertisers are; and revealing networks of people who are guilty of wrongthink.

In any common law land only the jury of 12 can ever find anyone guilty under law.   To say a corporation finds someone guilty of a crime because it went against a policy leads to roads that no one wants to go down.

The film compliance shows just how bad a company can be if it polices (polices) people they believe to commit a crime and takes away all the rights of the individual.   What if a group of sick individuals hate someone in a corporation and make allegations against one employer.  Bullying happens everywhere and if we don't stick to the innocent before guilty, then what kind of madness can happen?

Now we are suggesting a kind of political correctness before you can type your opinion on a platform which is controlled by the government.   Are we now living in Communist china????   I have to go outside and check.

Just to teach you German history a little: the surpression of the free press back then wasnt initiated by the press agencies but by the government. Test question 1: was the idiot banned from twitter because of governmental action and request? Test question 2: who actually is running the US government?

Nonsensical comment.

UK rules are not of relevance in this thread.

Communists were running the government as obama was a communist.   Trump came along and wanted to get back to the constitution where the commies took the Constitution and rule of law right off the tracks.   THis is evidenced by the facts that the supreme court didn't sort this out.

We are under WW3 it's a freemason fact and considering the freemasons run the world, then this is a fact!!

Not at all.   There are so many rules that a company has to adhere too already, now they are pushing the idea of free speech.  Dangerous!!  how many rules do we need?

Quote

Nonsensical question.

Absolutely NOT!!  If people don't go to a shop, business, that business fails, so who holds the power???

Good. Any and all clampdown on such hurtful nonsense is a great thing.

And like others said, go start your own nonsense site if you need to spread low grade BS. No established company is required to allow the spread of delusional garbage.

Then what happens when companies become so in favour of people they're against?

Think we saw this in Germany?   If we don't learn from history, we just repeat history.      It's repeating big time.

Englands biggest mistake was to allow the Saxons (Germans) in around 523ad.   England is still being ruled by the German royals:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Saxe-Coburg_and_Gotha

The House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (/ˌsæks ˌkbɜːrɡ ...ˈɡθə, -tə/;[1] German: Haus Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha) is a German dynasty that ruled Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, one of the Ernestine duchies and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland

If the British people knew who they were worshiping years ago, the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, they would of been out on the country fast.   Why would a German liniage change their name to a more English Windsor?

Brexit has messed up their plans big time.   The fall out is coming soon.

For instance, you are not allowed into a shop without a certificate for a vaccine?????  You can't come into a shop without a mask?????????  You haven't got a electronic 666 tag in your arm that the bible warned us about?    NO SERVICE!!!   What if the clever people out number stupid people and refuse to shop at that these shops?    They go under???   Already we are seeing shops go under purely because the large corporations are thriving and the poor little businesses are losing.    So the people just have to reverse that.    Understand the power basis of what money and business is.

The Bible says nothing about an electronic tag, you've already been school over what the 666 means in the Bible.

English: "17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is 666."

Play by the rules of freedom, total freedom.  Not the Communist freedom where every conforms to government totalitarian rules.

All of these people are still free to stand on any street corner and shout whatever they want to.  The Government has not silenced them.

Don't believe the hype.
