Queen Elizabeth's relative faces prison time for a violent attack on a guest at his ancestral home of Glamis Castle in Scotland.

Simon Bowes-Lyon, the current Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to the sexual assault of a 26-year-old woman in February 2020, according to the BBC.

During the 20-minute assault, Bowes-Lyon, 34, reportedly forced his way into the woman's room and tried to pull off her nightgown.

He is actually the grandson of the Queen's cousin

The Earl of Strathmore has been jailed for ten months for sexually assaulting a woman.

Simon Bowes-Lyon, 34, a relative of the Queen, admitted to attacking a woman at Glamis Castle, Angus, in February last year.

Bowes-Lyon, the son of a cousin of Elizabeth II, was sentenced at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

Sheriff Alistair Carmichael described it as a “serious” sexual assault and said there was no alternative other than a custodial sentence.

I have no idea of where these titles come from or if they simply go with the estates of land holders.  But it occurred to me that Queen Elizabeth, being displeased lately with Harry, decided to pull several of his titles an action that sound like it has hurt him deeply.  Wouldn't it be more appropriate for her to pull the titles of those who participate in immoral conduct such as this ?  Isn't it about time her pedophile son "Prince" Andrew just be called Andrew and this guy be known as Mr. Strathmore ?

That was my first thought.  It doesn't sound good for Andrew if even distant royals are actually be held to account for their brutish behavior.  Frankly, if Maxwell offers proof, I can't see how Andrew walks away without a prison sentence.  I'm still not convinced Ghislaine isn't going to meet with a mysterious end.  People at THAT level aren't going to go quietly.

Family troubles are never pleasant but Harry brought an outsider in that seems to have had ZERO intention to be part of the family.  He's going to be very lucky if he doesn't get dragged through a messy divorce and a custody battle before she gets finished with him.
