2024 is a looooong way away, and what can Trump do when gifted such a mess from this incompetent administration?

Either ignore it and tell us about how big the crowds were at his latest rally or throw big macs at them and scream.

I do!  We support the Ukrainian people untill the Russians give up and go home (or Putin dies and they go home).

Almost a clear definition of an "endless war".

I wonder who could have predicted this mess?

Oh that's right. Many people in this thread

My thoughts were more about how would Trump end this war without endangering world peace.

Don't forget, he has been consistently anti-war for at least 30 years and was the only modern president to avoid war

Just pointing out the record employment levels, especially for minorities, under the Trump administration.

I think employment is one of the major factors of poverty

Very true, and I give him credit for that.  But in this case, had he been president, he would have just given Ukraine to Putin to avoid war in his term.

Well except for that, "My button is bigger than your button" thing with North Korea and the loosening of the rules of engagement in Afghanistan, or that whole killing of the Iranian general on Iraqi soil, etc.

But I get your point.  He was the one that abandoned the Kurds and made peace in Syria (Yay for Assad), started the peace deal with Taliban (Yay,for the Taliban), became BFF's with Kim Jun Un (Yay for North Korea).

I am certain he would make eace with Russia by leaving NATO and giving Ukraine to Russia (Yay, for Putin).

Both of you are continuing the "Trump is a Putin puppet" or a "Russian agent" line.

Serious question, why would Putin wait until Trump was out of office to invade Ukraine if this were true?

Because Trump wasn't in office to just give it to him?

What?

You said Trump would have handed Putin Ukraine.

What does the quoted post mean?

Aren't you one of the people claiming we shouldn't be giving weapons and shouldn't be involved with Ukraine in the other thread?

What exactly do you think Trump would of done to stop Putin?

Way to answer the question. Sorry, I mean, way to avoid the question as usual.

To answer your question (in good faith as usual), yes I am one of those people who think arming Ukraine as if it were a Nato country is prolonging a war and leading to unnecessary deaths.

In regards to what Trump would have done to prevent war, I suppose more of the same as he did when President

So he would both give Ukraine to Putin and then air strike one of Putins generals?

Maybe, he was a wildcard after all, but you are sounding increasingly incoherent and contradictory

The one you quoted.....

Also, look above. I have answered already what Trump would have done.

He is a wildcard. Unpredictable. Not the sort of person you can mess with as you have no idea how he will react

Or just retelling things Trump has done in the past.

Donald Trump’s business-friendly leadership created a ‘Worker’s Utopia’ that the Marxist/Communist/Socialist idealists will never be able to achieve, and he did it without murdering 100s of millions of citizens as the Marxists/Communists/Socialists did in their totalitarian failed attempts.

I honestly can't tell if that's your genuine answer or if you're making a joke

You think Trump was predictable?

He was basically tweeting world leaders saying "mess around and find out". No one wanted to find out.

Talking tough usually avoids conflicts.

What Biden said:

Quote

news conference the previous day.

On Wednesday, Biden had predicted Russia would invade Ukraine, but suggested there was a split among NATO members about how to respond if Moscow took action that stopped short of sending its troops across the border — something Biden referred to as a "minor incursion." He said:

"I think what you're going to see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades. And it depends on what it does. It's one thing if it's a minor incursion and then we end up having a fight about what to do and not do."

https://www.npr.org/2022/01/20/1074466148/biden-russia-ukraine-minor-incursion

But of course Trump was predictable, who didn't expect his Cofeve tweet?

So you believe that Putin would not have invaded Ukriane because Trump would of said something "tough".

Has Trump ever talked tough to Putin?

Edit:

Apparently CNN complied a list timeline of Trump puntin statements since 2013 to 2017. Old article
