It's a acronym for Too Long Didn't Read. It's a millennial thing where someone makes a long post and then at the bottom they will have a TLDR with one or two sentences summarizing the thing.

Oh, ok.   I probably won't remember next time I see that.   I agree, too long, didn't read it, but I did look at the table of contents.

That is the thing right there. How does one go about that? Restore something that has been shattered for over 50 years.

The White House's new press secretary was asked why President Biden wore no mask at the Lincoln Memorial on the night of his inauguration.

Mr Biden had signed an executive order hours earlier mandating face coverings on all federal property.

Jen Psaki replied that he was "celebrating an evening of a historic day" and that there are "bigger issues to worry about at this moment in time".

Yep, and someone wants us to think Pfizer is a hero for getting that wasteful vaccine out so soon, when in fact they are only in it for the money.  I bet the cost of those wasted vaccines will not be paid by Pfizer, since they aren't even offering to pay for any vaccines, just charge for them.  I hope BionTech gets their share.

He has also made it clear in other statements that it would take up to eight months for most Americans to be vaccinated.

This is going to be an arduous task, but at least he is persistent about the goal of 100M vaccines, and other actions being implemented to do the best that he can:

I found it fascinating — yesterday the press asked the question: Is, you know, 100 million enough?  A week before, they were saying, “Biden, are you crazy?  You can’t do 100 million in a hundred days.”  Well, we’re going to, God willing, not only do 100 million, we’re going to do more than that.  But this is — we have to do this.  We have to move.

The American Rescue Plan also includes economic relief for most Americans who are in need.  We’re going to finish the job of getting a total of $2,000 in direct payments to folks.  Six hundred dollars, which was already passed, is simply not enough if you still have to choose between paying your rent and putting food on the table.

We’ll extend unemployment insurance benefits for millions of workers, beyond the deadline that is now set.  It means that 16 million Americans who are currently relying on unemployment benefits while they look for work can count on these checks continuing to be there in the middle of this crisis.

The American Rescue Plan also addresses the growing housing crisis in America.  Approximately 14 million Americans — 14 million — have fallen behind on rent, and many risk eviction.  If we fail to act, there’ll be a wave of evictions and foreclosures in the coming months as this pandemic rages on, because there’s nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months.

I like that he is not downplaying the seriousness of this virus, and is actually taking a stand to be transparent with the American people.

The Trump administration was already at almost 1 million vaccines per day.

New York City restaurants and bars have lost over 140,000 jobs during the coronavirus pandemic as the industry continues to be hard hit amid the ongoing crisis.

The New York City Hospitality Alliance told The Independent that the sector experienced a 43 per cent drop in employment across 2020 and a “shocking” 55 per cent loss in the full-service restaurant sector.

The executive order has the words "... as in CDC Guidelines."  The CDC says masks may not neec to be worn outside when maintaining appropriate distance.

The United States has recorded 25 million coronavirus cases, reaching the threshold Saturday afternoon, according to a New York Times database.

Experts say that as staggering as that figure is, it significantly understates the true number of people in the country who have been infected and the scope of the nation’s failure to contain the spread of the virus.

The official tally works out to about one in every 13 people in the country, or about 7.6 percent of the population.

Vaccines are not money makers. Look into this.   You are saying Pfizer while there are over 150 other vaccines  in development.

Biden did more in the first week of his presidency to combat the COVID pandemic than Trump did all year (the last year of his failure of a presidency). A lack of a national pandemic plan is what placed the USA as the worst hit country in the COVID pandemic. We have a new president who takes the national health and security emergency much more seriously than the last, and he encourages a much better, scientific and collective approach to stop the spread of COVID.

White Americans, esp. conservative Republicans and in the Central and southern states are the least likely to wear a mask or face covering than any group:
