Woman calls police after missing McDonalds

AN "ANGRY" woman called the police because she missed out on getting a McDonalds breakfast because of a long queue.

Inspector Darren Taylor at Sussex Police said the force received a phone call at 11.30am yesterday from an unhappy customer in East Grinstead, who had been waiting to get a McDonalds breakfast at the Drive Thru restaurant in London Road.

But unfortunately by the time she arrived at the Drive Thru window to place an order, the breakfast service was no longer available.

Think how you would feel if a member of your family was unable to get the help they required because the police, fire or ambulance services had been called away on a hoax call.

All calls to the emergency services are recorded and we can always trace the number, even if the call is made from a withheld number. If you are found to be making a hoax call you could be fined or even sent to prison.

Misuse of 999 and hoax calls are a criminal offence.  You could face a maximum penalty of up to six months in prison or a fine of £5,000.

It is a crimnal offence. However, only criminal in a dejure court and 12 jury find you guilt of that offence.   £5000 fine ?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_of_Rights_1689

promises of fines and forfeitures before conviction are illegal and void;

So are they going to take this PERSON/SERF/SLAVE to a court, pay to have a jury, judge and prosecutors when no one was injured, harmed and the only loss was a missed Mc donalds.    :no: Not going to happen is it.

Why bother? All everything McDonald's serves is disgusting "food substitute" anyway.

Except their coffee. That's the only good thing at McD's.

Here in Europe the drink from McCafe in general (hot chocolate, chai latte etc) tend to be good in general.

Exactly, and everyone seems to be cognizant of that, yet when the name comes up, everyone be like, "yea I never eat that filth!"

However, drive by any single one any time of day and that queue is wrapped round the block

SOMEONE IS EATIN AT ****IN MCDONALD'S

Surely next to the ad. for the breakfast it will mention what time it finishes? If it isn't an 'all day' breakfast then it has a finishing time . . . . Karen should have taken note of this. What about on-the-spot- fines for people who waste police time in this way? Or on-the-spot pop-you-into-a-cell-for-24hrs-with-immediate-effect punishments? Giving you time to think about your actions.

About the only fast food place I like is Wendy's. Hardee's taste like grease, McD's is a food like substance that requires multiple bathroom visits after, Burger King is a mix of the previous two. I guess that's one of the perks of 2020, I grew to really dislike fast food.
