Binman sacked for kicking head off snowman

A binman was sacked after he was filmed on CCTV kicking the head off a young boy's snowman.

Sophie Taylor, 25, caught the worker kicking her son's snowman in their garden in Hereford. The man can be seen casually delivering a right-footed blow to the 6ft snowman while he waited for a bin to be emptied into the back of a truck.

He then puts the bin back in its spot before carrying on with his job.

But Ms Taylor wasn't happy with what she saw, saying that her three-year-old son Joseph built the snowma with her on Saturday, after much of the country was blasted by Arctic weather.

The articles don't say much good for the binman's personality and he does deserve to face discipline.

Nearly 3,000 people sign petition demanding binman is given his job back after he was sacked for decapitating three-year-old boy's snowman with kung fu kick

Believe it or not, snowmen don't have feelings..       Stupid move, showing off, but to be sacked for it is too far.

Makes me wonder if he had other complaints of misconduct that made this the last straw.

No... not in this country now.   Things are that bad where you don't play the game there are millions who will take your position up, so he like all of us are expendable.  He is not likely to know his rights and defend them, but at least a petition was put up in his defence.

So a garbageman acted unprofessionally by messing with a clients property while on the job and got fired for it. If he had refrained from his action and just done his job professionally as he was expected to, he would probably still have a job. He might be better suited for a job without clients that complain when he acts unprofessionally.

The binman who decapitated a snowman in Hereford ended up being sacked for the viral clip - prompting thousands to sign a petition for him to get his job back.

And now his actions are even inspiring copycat stunts elsewhere in the country, with two blokes in Leeds filming an amusing spoof video.

As Chris Oliver and Paul Walker battled the elements to collect the bins in Harehill, Leeds, they decided to have 'a bit of fun'.
