Upcoming Matrix Movie

The "Simulation" theory has been an obsession on the internet since before the release of the first Matrix movie yet we are seeing another peak of the reference to the Matrix series in recent politics. I imagine there was a gradual build towards these paranoias with mass production emphasis on series like Ready Player One and Black Mirror to name a couple, especially on the major streaming platform Netflix. I have met several people who have tried to convince me that life is just a simulation, and whether or not they really believe it or think they sound funny is up to them. The theory holds interesting points, especially for stories, but cannot be proved.

The upcoming Matrix movie had been delayed from its original date. I wonder how it would have done if it were released on a day where it more closely aligned with politics? Or if it will be more successful if released at a later date.

I was reading that listed movie dates may be pushed out even later again with Covid but let's hope not. Pandemic delayed media so the whole agenda may be shifted. Movies have been listed out for a number of years but they dont always detail them until the date gets closer.

Yeah, I was thinking that's probably more a delay than anything else. Good to see some new stuff filtering through though.

First Look At The Matrix: Resurrections Has Been Released

Ahead of the trailer launch later this week, Warner Bros. has shared some stills and (very) brief footage from the next instalment of the classic sci-fi series.

Titled The Matrix: Resurrections, the film is set to hit cinemas on 22 December, though still not much is known in terms of the plot.

However, if you go to the film's website, you are offered the choice between, yep, you guessed it, a red and a blue pill.

And depending on which one you choose, and the time that you visit the site, you are shown different footage from the movie, of which there are reportedly 180,000 variations.
