With all the recent discussions about the “cancel culture” and censorship, I thought it might be interesting to point out the exact opposite of these.

While I’m flattered by being conceptually mirrored by Fareed Zakaria on his CNN show today, I’m not too pleased with him calling this, “my take.”

”Republicans need an exorcism” 2-21-2021?

Fareed Zakaria plagiarizes my concept of Exorcism of the Republicans 2-21-2021

This wasn’t your take, Mr. Zakaria, it was my take, and you’ve mirrored my recent ecclesiastical argument, here.

The Spirit of Truth is free for all, but the conceptual rarity of my argument is best recognized by giving some credit to those who are capable of performing, said exorcism.

If you were encouraging me to write a Book of Plagas, you can understand my hesitancy, since I would then be required to more openly defend myself in the public arena, with a tongue of fire .....

I think “conservatives” are running scared right now, desperately trying to re-brand themselves as something good, when actually they’re something quite awful.

Not all conservatives, mind you, but it’s a small bunch that I care to listen to right now.

The Republican brand is dead, which means that brand of conservatism is also dead. The brand wasn’t destroyed by censorship, the brand was destroyed by lies, and I take no joy in saying that, because it pains me to watch.

We are only halfway through the exorcism. So far we’ve managed to get the conservative patient down from the ceiling, but that head just keeps spinning round and round, with the vomit flying.

My advice to the good governor, is to reconsider our Mother’s feelings at this crucial time. The Stone Age is not a good place to be.

Hmm. Potentially. That sort of thing is extremely common, especially with public accounts. Or it could just be a coincidence because I have definitely heard that exorcism concept used on the news plenty of times. But as part of their line of work, news and media companies seek out content on the internet for inspiration. It would be like you sharing an article for a thread. You didn't write the article though. If you really don't believe it to be coincidence, I wouldn't pay it any more mind or be too worried about something that small. Its more of a damage to you psychologically than damage to any work you wrote because it will narrow your sights. If someone makes a book or album out of your content, robs your house, or sues your company, maybe then you could pay mind. I would just ignore it and maybe joke it off with people offline if you believe its real. People aren't generally considerate about things of that nature on the internet.

Essentially using exorcise or exorcism is a rather common phrase used by the media and thinking it was stolen from anyone posting on here is the height of self delusion, thoughts of grandeur, and hubris.

After watching him for years, I’ve decided that Mr. Zakaria has a Harvard mouth, but not a Harvard mind.

In terms of possible damages, since I’m not making any money writing here, you’re probably correct.

I was calling the main-stream media, the False Prophet,  here, long before Donald Trump called them ”fake news.” It’s one of the few things that I agreed with him about. I’m not saying this about Mr. Zakaria, because I actually think he’s generally truthful in his reporting. It’s also one of the few weekly shows, I rarely miss. So I’m a quasi fan.

While I suspect that I may have been poked at, a handful of times by TV pundits over the years; I don’t ever recall feeling conceptually plagiarized by one, like this.

If I’m wrong, then I’m wrong, but if I’m right; I’m a little hurt, feelings wise, at least.

I don't know him very well. Perhaps you could be correct in your Harvard reference to allude to a minority of individuals who bribe their way through college and grades.

There are plenty of stories and videos about people whose business ideas were stolen or companies that went bankrupt from competition. It's hard to say what is truth and what isn't because it isn't always facts in operation when emotions are under pressure. This is similar to saying "Hey! Facebook stole the Stories idea from Snapchat!" I think most people notice but don't think to say anything, unless they are slighted. I think that guy Shiva who ran for a position in office under Trump claimed that email was his idea. Here is a video about Microsoft. It's up to the viewers to decide how much of it is true:

Remember your service provider and computer services can also hand pick content for you with personalization. If you are logged in to an account of any kind, what they show you may differ. For example, my Free Movies section is different at each of my relatives houses but they pay for the same service provider. This may be narrowing your sights. Personalization can take in to account your interests, hobbies, purchases, location, relationships, and a myriad of other things to compile a profile to present to you which some refer to as "Everyone's personal Truman Show" (I have heard so many people say that phrase lol).

I think what they presented on the Netflix movie The Social Dilemma is only in part true because you still have to consider that the source releasing the information had enough money and focused intention to release something of that caliber. I watched reviews of the documentary, and not the actual doc itself because I prefer other streaming services over Netflix (there are so many to choose from!) My impressions were that they were recycling and sensationalizing things that had been done years before in movies, books, classes... It wasn't much new information or something that could not be parsed from our own experiences.

You may be vaguely correct in the print media, but it’s unusual in the higher profile television market. They tend to shy away from using ecclesiastical terminology like this, because they are secular.

I think it is possible that the secular left, is becoming more aware of the non-secular ramifications of these plagues, and if so, then who is making them aware of that?

As far as my announcements of the recent plagas, which have struck the United States so catastrophically, I don’t think that my forecasts here have been “delusional.” 500,000 dead Americans is no delusion, and Mr. Zakaria wasn’t using ecclesiastical terminology in 2019 to announce what would remove the Republican Party from power.

As far as I know, I’m the only person on Earth who has ever forecast that the Republican Party would be destroyed by a “sickness” that would “come in waves,” followed by a forecast of a “special visit” by the polar vortex, which would further cripple the Texas GOP.

The “delusion” belongs to the state of confusion, as evidenced by the GOP’s exorcism by specific types of peril.

meh, booring.

my  late grand father in law, a former soviet air force officer said, in soviet army there was no such concept as stolen,  you could not tell anyone that someone stole from you   it is you who could not protect it and lost it.

Repetitive catchphrases... Ugh lol! (I listed the five-ish reasons why they are used but I'm getting tired now so here are some examples I started listing before I timed out while I was reading):

TDS (trump derangement syndrome), orange man bad, dab, yaass, build a wall, stan, the new normal, Karen, 'rona, woke, cancel culture, cult, lit, fake news, goat, echo chamber, big tech...

I swear everyone sounds the same if not similar lol.

Well said, and I appreciate the sincere and thoughtful reply.

I think marketing is a valid form of enterprise, not easily overcome by critical thinking or personalized countermeasures. However, I don’t think that’s our biggest problem.

For example, I probably have “Death to America” attached to my recent Google and NSA profile more than any other American. Does it mean that I hate my country? Of course not. In fact, just the opposite. I think if we tweaked our constitution a little bit, and allowed a jury form of selection for our public offices; combined with educational restrictions, we might overcome the wider, gates to hell problem. As it stands now, we concentrate the gates of hell in our government.

To survive, we should be smart enough to evolve, politically. What’s lacking most in our governance, is good common sense.

Bish whet? You tagged me in a post with another user that you know had an opposing viewpoint on Biden from reading other threads and used it to start a thread. Why were so many people mentioned in the OP? You read what I was saying about copyright laws and such and it looks like you thought I would play in to some transformed version of that and maybe you would get me to argue or reveal personal details. When I first saw this post it was blatantly obvious to me but I'm not going to react how you want me to, buddy.

"Common Sense" would be to not create a post tagging me and all of these other people which obviously violates guidelines and expecting it to work out in your favor. You can't assign something that small and stupid as "the biggest problem." The world has a myriad of problems and they don't stem down to "common sense", everybody knows it is more complicated than that, but gaslighting agitators like yourself always try to use catchphrases so that would be along the lines of intuition and exclusion.

“The world” wasn’t the target.

The target was the United States, and the Republican House, which has been exorcised from power, permanently, due to a “sickness” which “like a tsunami” came in “waves.”

Like you, it keeps vomiting out distractions, but thankfully it has no power to rise from its wretched and defiled, political grave.
