More than 300 Nigerian schoolgirls abducted

More than 300 schoolgirls have been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen from a school in Nigeria's north-western Zamfara state, police say.

Security officers have been dispatched to the town of Jangebe where the girls were seized early on Friday morning.

Local officials have confirmed the attack but have not given more details.

This is the latest mass abduction targeting schools in recent weeks. Armed gangs often seize schoolchildren for ransom.

I just saw this. There's been so much of this. I hope all the girls are found quickly and safe. IIRC, a month or so ago, all the children were located safe in a few days by the authorities.

Yea it seems to happen so often , maybe they can find a more secure way of running the schools. Like put them on an army base or something.

That seems to be the only way.  People who harm children are evil and they need killing at the first opportunity, IMHO.
