They represent a lot of frustration from ADULTS who are being treated as children. The last straw is government representatives telling them that even when they are vaccinated, no more freedom of movement can be allowed! The anger is only going to build. I wonder how the Irish will feel about arrests, detentions and career crippling sentences for demanding FREEDOM? A natural consequence is what we are witnessing now. If this virus was deadlier (God forbid) then keeping people afraid and hiding wouldn't be a problem. Since we KNOW who is most vulnerable and we know the fatality rate has not significantly increased in spite of enhanced transmission of newer strains, why isn't the global government targeting those at risk and allowing most to go about their lives if they choose to? If you feel these steps are necessary, by all means, follow instructions. Nah, that's far too high a price... Just 36 per million people died in Australia. A total of under 1000. Forgive me for pointing out the ignorance and selfishness for what it is. Those numbers are skewed. Every year we have a couple of million people die in the US for various reasons...it's not all that hard to 'accumulate' death numbers. I know someone who was 90 that was in poor health and died in 2020. Yep, you guessed it...Covid19 death. Well, no...in reality he was going to die anyway.
