macqdor Posted March 2, 2021 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2021 (edited) https://www.chronicle.co.zw/mysterious-fires-terrorise-families/ Quote Leonard Ncube, Victoria Falls Reporter A SERIES of mysterious fires have reportedly razed three homesteads belonging to three related families in Lupane, forcing them to flee and seek refuge in a bush. The bizarre incidents are taking place in Guga Village 1, Dongamuzi area, on the boundary of the Chief Menyezwa and Chief Mabhikwa chiefdoms. Sources said they have been hounded by the mysterious fires since last week when their homesteads started catching fire in separate incidents. They would shift to other huts which would also catch fire. The families pitched tents for temporary shelter and ended up fleeing to the homestead of another relative in the same village when the tents were also burnt............ Well the article doesn’t mention poltergeists. Pretty much guaranteed to be a human firebug or something similar, by the sounds of it. 4

rashore Posted March 2, 2021 #12 Share Posted March 2, 2021 The article has nothing to do with geists or ghosts. It’s about human arson, with the spooky being possibly blamed on a human using witchcraft. But likely just regular arson like the other arson in the article. 3

This article reeks of pyro-polt activity Good morning gentleman I do like to believe that geists are a thing.. and I do indeed question all spooky and the science too... but with this story you are reaching beyond the tip of the razor and into the wafting air currents of its passing to apply it to geists. It's human arson, at best being blamed for witchy arson. Don't steal the witches thunder to further your geist agenda and Occam's in the wind. 2

This article reeks of pyro-polt activity Good morning gentleman I would once again like to reiterate that you never did provide the fire department report to support your own story. (Which you said was on your website, but it wasn’t (just your own material). And which you said you had provided to other members on the forum (but didn’t want to post in your threads). People might believe you if you were at all credible. Posting an article that in no way references poltergeists as evidence of your new ‘pyro-polt’, as you call it, is very telling. Also, how’s the movie coming along? Has it been delayed due to COVID now? You made it sound like a done deal a while ago... I’m still sincerely interested to see if, if it ever manifests. XenoFish Posted March 2, 2021 #19 Share Posted March 2, 2021 Isn't this almost like ambulance chasing? I mean people lost their homes and he's trying to say "muh poltergeist". They might want to think it's a witch, but it's arson.

macqdor Posted March 3, 2021 Author #23 Share Posted March 3, 2021 (edited) @rashore You'd be surprised. My methodology for reaching my conclusion is way better than a skeptics. Skeptics #1 go tool is Occam's Razor. 'Look for the obvious explanation and walla! That has to be the reason.' Thats a skeptics approach. Its severely outdated. So, much to the the point of being laughable. Who in the right mind is going to label something "arson" from the comfort of their own chair. No firemen or fire specialists would ever do that. Arson? Human prankster? We're the evidence to support that? Last time I checked no one's come forth and admitted to setting the fires. But there lie's an interesting reveal. Pyro-polts i.e. poltergeist are by definition arsonists. Spiritual arsonists. The second go to weapon a skeptic loves throwing around is: ad homeniums. A close 3rd tactic is straw man. I've researched hundred of stories, cases like this going back hundreds of years and the baseline activity is exactly the same. There are things that stand out to an experiencer like myself that a career skeptic always miss. Their conscious bias i.e. world view forces them to miss. They can't help themselves. I stand by my conclusion: Pyro-Polt. A very angry and malicious pyro-polt at that. I guarantee you the next response from many (here) will be Occams Razor, Ad Homeniums or Straw Man. None of the guys/gals here have devoted their time poltergeist research. Watching a Hollywood movie doesn't count LOL Regards Mac Edited March 3, 2021 by macqdor
