Still Waters Posted March 2, 2021 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2021 A self-taught amateur space photographer has captured a set of incredible images from his garden in Greater Manchester. Baz Beswick, of Denton, said he found it "mind-blowing" to be able to glimpse distant worlds and galaxies. His detailed photographs include the Rosette Nebula, which lies some 5,000 light years away. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-manchester-56255404 5

ChrLzs Posted March 2, 2021 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2021 Nice work, but .... they didn't exactly explain the nature and expense of the very impressive equipment setup he has. This is not something Joe Average is going to get anywhere near without a LOT of money spent.

I would say he has a good feel for how to get the best from the equipment and image processing. Great images.
