A Crazed GOP Wants to Cancel Baseball, Coke and Big Business

Grim Reaper 6

What’s left after the GOP cancels itself? You could get whiplash trying to track conservatives’ hypocritical mental gymnastics, but there is a common theme: Conservatives believe in a one-way relationship with America where their terms reign supreme. Our role is to submit or face cancellation. Incredibly, the party that continually whines about “cancel culture”while at the same time practicing it is now on the verge of self-cancellation after turning on the big business allies it’s historically united with to push tax breaks, de-regulation, and the “creative” destruction of the unchecked “free market.”

What a confused, gibberish article.

Republican's - certainly in Georgia - where angry at the Major League Baseball trying to cancel severall major games out of Atlanta in a 'woke' response to Georgia's new law to make elections more secure, and for Woka Cola's public comments.

Baseball has shot itself in the foot. This sort of Wokism has already caused a collapse in viewing figures in many US sports.

Here is what Woke Really means, after Your Leader called for the ban of Coca-Cole, he was photographed with an open bottle of Coke on his desk at Marilago. In other words do what I say not what I do because I am Special!

Drink a Coke for your leader!:P

Oh GOOD FIND, @Manwon Lender. There is a TEENY TINY problem with this. So small that I hesitate to bring it up.

Trump called for a boycott a few days ago, based on Woka Cola's recent statements.

The photograph - however -  was taken almost a year ago.

So much, then , for Salon in particular, and MSN in general. This confused article is clearly a clumsy attempt to smear Trump by conflating something he drank last year, with his recent comments that where inspired by Coca Cola's recent actions. Classic 'smoke and mirrors'.

How do you know it's 'Wokism'?  All TV viewing is down (except for the Women's NCAA Basketball tournament that just finished up, which was up.)

You mean where MLB used their free speech and rights as business owners to move their All-Star Game to a different location? So Cancel Culture is totally cool with Republicans after all, and free speech isn't so important; wish they'd make up their mind, makes them look 'confused'.

Here is the real proof Trump has no integrity.

Isn't it interesting how much the GOP values corporations until a few of them tell the GOP to go F themselves with a rusty pole?

Free speech is only important to Republicans when it gives them the right to refuse to bake cakes for gay people or invade the capitol while waving the flag of yet another failed rebellion.

I lost faith in my fellow Americans when we put a game show host in office then wore his hats and shirts and waved his flags around like a bunch of weird cultists because he gave them justification for being garbage humans

I spent my life serving our country in the US Military for 23 years, then I spent another 10 years Working as a Contractor in the Middle East. Even though many Americans in my opinion made a really bad choice voting for the game show host, I am eternally optimistic that everyone will come around. I love our country and, all it stands for along with the American people no matter what. But, honesty I do have some doubt in the back of my mind, I just hope that I am wrong!:(

Thank you for your service.  It's possible you may have worked with my brother in law while contracting, but I'll not reveal names for obvious reasons.  I currently work in the defense department.  I love our country and what it POTENTIALLY could be..... if only we'd stop basing our culture around the 3 most destructive man-made forces on Earth.... god, guns and money

75 million?  No.  But definitely up in the millions. What a lot of people who supported Trump failed, and still failed, to understand is that the 70 whatever million votes Trump got weren't necessarily die hard supporters..... they just didn't like Biden's tax plans.  But I digress, I take it you've never been to the southern or midwest portion of the US?

Thanks for your service also! I worked in a very specialized career field, my MOS was Technical Escort, when you get to work look it up. I worked in that field of operations both on Active Duty and as a contractor. Currently I am living in South Korea as a Expatriate, my wife is Korean. We still have a home in Washington not far from Ft. Lewis, Wa, we have a house here in Korea also, so we go back and forth.

I totally agree with what you said about the 3 most destructive man made Forces, I have seen the destruction they cause up close. I am glad you understand the security considerations concerning not mentioning names. I have also had to considered that issue most of my life, in fact I don't even have a single photo online except my baby picture when .I was newly born. If you can say what type if work do you do Imwould like to know.

Nothing even remotely as risky as the work actual military does.  I'm one of the ones on the backlines making sure that the military has the supplies and funding needed to do what they do.
