I found an interesting video on YouTube I believe it could be a example of ball lighting. However, I am not an expert, so what does everyone think.

What else could it be besides ball lightning?

Hi @Manwon Lender, it is very likely CGI.

The light reflections/illumination are a bit off, plenty of bright reflections on the tracks but not surrounding poles or trees.

The lens flare looks a bit unnatural too.

Quite a nice looking clip though.

Edit: Original uploader says it is CGI in the clip title:

Do you have a link to the original uploaders comments, not that I don't believe, but I would like to contact them I have a few questions I would like to ask, when I found the clip there was no information with it.

The link I posted is apparently the original uploaded.
You may be able to contact them via their YouTube channel.

It doesn't appear to be possible, where did the statement that it was CGI located at?

From the original uploaders comment stream that's pinned under the video...

@César Alejandro López  Just to be clear: I don't consider ball lightning is a miracle. I see these comments all over the internet and I see also what people write after they realize it's made with a computer. In my opinion this negative reaction proceeds mainly from disappointment. This video was created when I just started to learn computer graphics thus it has a lot of mistakes here and there and I think if someone can look attentively that mistakes are clearly visible. By way of conclusion, just don't learn physics at school and your life will be full of magic and miracles.

No problem. I remembered this one popping up a time or few a while making the rounds of spooky topics a while back.

I can see why, it is a very well executed example of ball lightening as it is explained by observers.

Again thank you very much, I tried to find that statement about CGI yesterday and somehow I missed it. I suppose deep down inside I want to believe it was real.
