Red Ants Use Black Ants As "Slaves"

I remember many years ago red ants actually taking over black ants and making the black ants "work" for them.  I think they get hold of the black eggs before they hatch, then when they hatch the babies from the black ant colony go to work for the red ants.

From their clothes  I'm guessing that was filmed in the antebellum era. I didn't realise they had colour film then.
