"That is embarrassing".

Open-n-shut case.

(I deliberately didn't look at the video)

It's not english.   And what makes it an illusion, it is real sound.

Footie fans, en masse , chanting "That is embarrassing!". It couldn't be clearer.

I only have 1 good ear at the moment. I couldn't make any sense of it until the last chant ...i thought I heard something like " lobsters and monsters" but said in an English type accent...though my brain said that that's not what was said...close but not quite.

For what it's worth, I closed my eyes and listened.

^ These ^ without doubt.

It's also the only one that would really fit at a football match.

Well I listened first and I heard "waltzing and dancing" then read what is on the screen and Bart Simpson bouncing and I'm chasing martin could be heard, then read the comments and Could hear That is embarrassing. So I could heard 4 and I'm sure if more are suggested I'd hear some of them too But waltzing and dancing would fit well at a footy match so I'll stick with it.

None of the listed options in the video fit what the crowd is chanting. They aren’t even speaking English!

its embarrassing that this is even suggested as an audio illusion

as others here have stated its quite clear what is being said - just requires one to listen.

Literally, how do you record an audio illusion?  You can't record a visual illusion.  Has the meaning of the word "illusion"changed?

Managing to actually finish 3rd after a poor run is about as embarrassing as falling down the stairs and landing on Mila Kunis. Jealous footie fans are as exciting as Morrissey's Nan's recipe book :sleepy:

If I was drunk. Like really really drunk I might understand what they're saying.

Fun Tip: Turn on the captions.

"Lock si si bar si" is how it sounded to me...Nonsensical.

"that is embarrassing" fits, but only after I read it and applied a UK accent filter in my head, lol.

Without looking at the list I heard, What is the advantage !!! Posted this before reading comments so as not to bias me.

Having read the list and comments I can now make myself hear all the suggested phrases!!!
