Still Waters Posted June 17, 2021 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2021 The first "murder hornet" discovered in the US this year has been found north of Seattle. The dead Asian giant hornet, which was found in Snohomish County, appears to be unrelated to findings in Canada and Whatcom County along the Canadian border in 2019 and 2020. The hornet was found on 4 June, and collected four days later by entomologists who concluded it was a dead male Asian giant hornet. Because it was so dried out, they said it was likely to have been from a previous season. https://news.sky.com/story/murder-hornet-mystery-why-the-latest-discovery-in-the-us-is-a-particularly-perplexing-find-12334525

Nosy.Matters Posted July 10, 2021 #4 Share Posted July 10, 2021 Quote Flashy ! Clearly a signal to say don't **** with me ! Yep they had band of orange and black, another rare one coptering around ((( just as loud ) was thick black and yellow . Probably 4 incher and 3/4 inch wide ... course we were little so those measurements might be stretched just a bit and no we did not mess with them like we did any and all hornet an yellow jackets.
