BBC Journalist Mobbed

This needs to happen more often, in more places. These journalists are not your friends, they are not here to inform you. They are a mouthpiece for the ruling class. Note the unity in the crowd: all races and all genders coming together for a common cause.

This is the worst nightmare of the people keeping us locked down and this BBC presenter is paid to push stories that keep us divided, whether he realizes it or not. Take back what little freedom you have left - the vaccine is available to those that want it, there is no more excuse.

Edit to add -- for full effect, watch the b****ute clip here. 18+ for polite British cursing.

The prime minister has condemned footage that shows a BBC journalist being harassed and chased by anti-lockdown protesters.

The video on social media shows Newsnight political editor Nicholas Watt being verbally abused by people near Downing Street on Monday.

Boris Johnson tweeted: "Disgraceful to see the hounding of Nick Watt doing his job.

"The media must be able to report the facts without fear or favour - they are the lifeblood of our democracy."

The force also said it acknowledged "concerns that have been raised about the police response during this incident".

What do they expect when people have access to information and have their own thoughts about what is going on.  It is obvious the programming is being used against the people for the "leaders" and "owners".

That you want to see journalists harassed in the streets for reporting on the government's lockdown policies ?

Yes, it is due to the profanity filter.

Do people have access to information?  Who provides it and what are their motivations?

Any one who has access to the internet has access to more information than is dished out in the news media.   If you want and have the time, you can get all the different slants of the same story, instead of accepting one version of the story.   The first step is realizing that every reporting agency has an agenda, whether it is paid for by someone or whether it is their own agenda, there is always an agenda, especially with state sponsored news like the BBC.

Agreed.  Information floods us, but maybe truth  (if there is such) is still in short supply.  You can find about any topic you want but they all come from strangers with all kinds of backgrounds, opinions, expertise, and agendas as you mentioned.

For example, you can find the pushers of HCQ and the doctor who says covid is caused by sleeping with demons along side  the proponents of vaccination or masks

For knowingly pushing propaganda while largely ignoring the same protocols they push on the rest of us. Going after them sends a very strong message up the food chain that people are catching on to the scam.

The meme virus was scary at first, I bought in to the hype as no one knew what was really happening. Better safe than sorry. But after a few months, it started to become apparent there was a lot of fudgery going on. First with the reported death numbers (which later was changed to "infection cases",) then with the very inconsistent quarantine and mask protocols and now it's been reduced to holding the public hostage until vaccine numbers are met. People are dumb but they aren't stupid: when your anecdotal evidence matches my anecdotal evidence matches a third guy's anecdotal evidence, information spreads quickly. Ground level information in stark contrast to the fear porn being pumped out by the same journalists who aren't even wearing masks off camera.

The frustration you see in the OP video is people realizing they have been conned. Some of these journalists don't really believe in this any more than I do yet they willingly accept a paycheck to keep the narrative alive. This is all theatre and the BBC is complicit in perpetuating this false narrative, IMO.

But you are advocating harassment, which is a criminal act - it doesn't matter what your personal beliefs on the coronavirus pandemic are.

As we are unable to host threads advocating harassment on this forum, I'm going to close this down.
