Ghost of 'agitated' woman caught on camera

In the dark corridors of Cornwall's old jail, the 'ghost' of an agitated woman lurks menacingly.

Wandering around the grimy cells of Bodmin Jail, the apparition often reveals itself to visitors, who have reported feeling unsafe in her presence.

She was caught on camera by the jail's paranormal manager Kirsten Honey.

A jail has a 'paranormal manager' now! Sounds like the paranormal is starting to get more respect out there!

But anyway let's meter the photo, Not terribly impressive but given the environment and repeated claims it ups the chances.

Why are all these ghost photos so blurry and out focus, it almost seems intentional.

Both the photo and the short video in the article look fake as hell.

Crystal clear 4k footage of anything 'paranormal' would automatically be called CGI.

Blurry, crappy footage convinces many that it's authentic. There's just enough doubt in it for imaginations to take over. At least enough to foster clicks/likes and make some money. A lot of people want to believe.

Also, think of it like a horror movie or novel. The unknown and unseen/undescribed is more frightening.

Does the thing show up in the video? What time if so? Not watching 20 minutes of that to try and find it.

There's a video of less than a minute in the article itself.

The Youtube video is like what Xeno said: boring.

I scanned fast through the video, and after say 15 min. they get upset about some fireflies/'orbs'.

I guess my standards are too high. Some people go "full paranormal" at the slightest blurry image.

Not if it was in fact genuine - there are some fairly simple ways to actually check the original footage for tampering/editing.

The reason that has never been done to date, as far as I am aware, is one or more of the following:

- there have been no genuine 'paranormal' happenings.

- the CGI is ridiculously obvious (eg frames missing or inconsistent, cut/paste edges, etc)

- the CGI is admitted by the hoaxer, in order to avoid further scrutiny and the inevitable embarrassment or to complete their advertising campaign for their skilz...
