A mother and daughter are lucky to be alive after a horror crash that tried to involve the heavens.

The 31-year-old is accused of telling God to 'take the wheel' as a test of faith while they were driving through Beachwood, Ohio last month.

Fox 8 news claimed the woman's car managed to reach a speed of up to 190km/h before it slammed into another car at an intersection before violently spinning off the road, into electricity poles and crashing into a house.

She's now been charged with felony assault, endangering a child and driving under suspension.

She sounds like she needs some serious down time and a chance to talk with someone who never raises their voice :) .  She also seems to not be up to the job of parenting.  I hope she gets herself straightened out.

BTW, after looking at that video, I think the person in the other vehicle might admit that God was indeed, involved.  A split-second difference in timing and everyone there would have been dead.

Seems like I read somewhere, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

What a world, what a world!

Since it seems no one saw the accident, could it be the woman made that up because she let her 11 year old drive or she fell asleep?

Either way...if her story is true...if she 'believed' God would take the wheel...then she is mentally unstable.  If she allowed her 11 year old to drive at 120mph...she is mentally unstable.   If she fell asleep at the wheel...she's a dumbass...and mentally unstable.

I was thinking with the charges she may loose her child.  Endagering a child is serious.

I agree that she's mentally unstable.

That was the phrase that immediately came to mind.  The lady seems to have some mental issues.  I hope she gets help and until then, someone keeps that child safe.

Is she still a believer?

Talk about failing a test.

Telling God 'to take the wheel' could be just cover up title for a new failed test of Tesla\s driverless cars.

That's the thing about the religion meme virus...It doesn't matter what happens, an infected (ie: the faithful) will always answer or counter anything that happens with "it was god's will" or some such nonsense.

And to think she'll probably try to pass this retarded mentality onto her daughter. Somebody needs to get the kid away from that lunatic. I wonder how she would have explained the outcome if the other driver had been killed - "Oh, his belief wasn't strong enough. Look at us - we lived to tell about it because our belief in the great sky daddy was greater." I wonder if the 11 yr old daughter was asked if she wanted to participate in this insanity before the pedal hit the metal. What a crock of manure - why are these people allowed to breed?

That woman must have come from the same gene pool as the guy that put his SUV on cruise control and went to the back of it to fix a drink.

That was an urban myth, it did not happen (motorhome not SUV).   Someone told it as a joke.

Mr.Guitar I agree. And why they are allowed to breed i don't know.Gets the Darwin Award for sure, that would be like if I a Catholic, asked St.Christopher to take the wheel and just let go. This is just insane.Someone was looking out for the other people and her daughter.Surprised no one was killed.

I still think she made it up to avoid the truth.

Oh ok, but I'm not sure that is the same story.   I saw it on the news many years ago one night.
