Still Waters Posted July 15, 2021 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2021 A classic sports car found under piles of rubbish has sold for £16,500 at auction. The 1960 MG A Roadster was discovered at a property near Shaftesbury, Dorset, after the owner died and a valuation of their assets was requested for probate. Auctioneers Charterhouse, based in Sherborne, said the car had taken "a long time to dig out", and that such discoveries were "rare". The buyer will have to pay auction fees on top of the hammer price. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-dorset-57849769 2
acute Posted July 15, 2021 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2021 How did they manage to find a picture of the same car with a previous owner?

I would say through contact from the car's log book. Or perhaps the latest owner who died knew the person in the picture, could be a friend or relative they purchased the car from. The picture could have belonged to the deceased.
