Saru (White) [Wins] vs Lottie (Black)

Good game thumbsup.gif

I think the best advice I can give you after that game is not to castle too early, it gave me a chance right from the word go to position my pieces ready to checkmate your King.

Lottie, are we counting this as an actual game, even though it was intended as a practice match?

Cause, yanno, it's nearly been a month now. laugh.gif We'd be playing forever.

Well played as always, I genuinely thought i'd got you there a few moves back until I realised I was in check.

Same here, I honestly thought I was dead when we were stocking all those officers against that knight. Very good game, that was close. I really enjoyed it thumbsup.gif

I actually tried to move the queen down to put you in checkmate, I had not accounted for the bishop putting me in check, I think I looked at every other possible move you could have made but I still somehow missed that one.

Talon (Black) [Wins] vs Saru (White)

It helps to play out every possible move on a chess board to get an idea of what to do. But don't use their Anylisis board, its terrible looking at it in 2D, but looking at a 3D board shows so much more. thumbsup.gif

I'd never really thought of doing that, I do have an old wooden chessboard somewhere I could use. Not sure i'd have the time to try that very often, but it might help to get out of a particularly tight spot.

You should try it thumbsup.gif , having a long hard look at a real board is the only reason I managed to win against yourself, Joc and Barman. Looking at a 2D board, you just miss far to much.
