Actually, I am high on life.

And, just because you lack any understanding, nor the will to even try to comprehend what is being said, doesn't mean that I am making it up as I go..

So which narrative are you going with high on life or your god now?

When is the last time you slept?

What is "Google cherry pick copy and paste"?

And, I go with whatever narrative best serves ones pathway back Home..

Although, If I were meditating, there would be zero narrative.

Stop it, you're making me phallic chakra  tingle...

You think you are the first person to try and mock, and belittle me?

It only makes one stronger.

So thanks..

First of all, its GOD, not god.

First of all, I'll call it whatever I want. How about beezlebub? It's Beezlebub, not GOD. :)

Quote

It may be easier if you try for yourself?

I have. It didn't work for me. I wonder why Beezlebub allows itself to be experienced by you and not me?

No, you want to discuss what I am talking about, which is GOD, god is something else altogether.

Probably karma..

And, that Beelzebub is completely unempowered, incapable, and impotent, to do such a thing.

Well that's your opinion, and you are welcome to it.

Although, that's not my experience.

Not yours? Of course! We all have our own experiences. That's why no one experience can be trusted. Man is not the measure of all things, that's why we never ascertain anything as being true, absolutely, on mere personal experiences. Sure some of us may have some common experiences, but what does that mean? Commonality is not a good indicator of truth. Take Hendrix's Experience, although it's Bob Dylan's song, it took Jimmy to put soul into All along the Watchtower. One can see from that point of view, that Dylan had taken (borrowed) from a holy text (cheery-picked) or rather grape-picking, to put a spin on how he experiences inspiration for writing his songs, which eventually led to his being recognized as one meritorious of a Nobel prize. Give praise to the Lord, not Dylan. As Dylan is just a messenger.  We should not stone, nor praise. messengers. Dylan's refusal to accept the honor must have been a moment of truth experience, his conscience stopped him, as he was conscious that his subconscious had received the inspiration. On second thoughts, he thought to clear up the reason for his refusal, and in a round about way came clean, when he eventual decided to accept the first prize, the NOBEL, after all.

"When I received the Nobel Prize for Literature, I got to wondering how exactly my songs related to literature," he said.

Using the same vivid language and circuitous storytelling that are hallmarks of his songbook, Dylan described how the classics he read in school influenced his music. "When I started writing my own songs, folk lingo was the only vocabulary that I knew, and I used it," he said. "But I had something else as well. I had principles and sensibilities and an informed view of the world, and I'd had that for a while. I learned it all in grammar school: Don Quixote, Ivanhoe, Robinson Crusoe, Gulliver's Travels, A Tale of Two Cities, all the rest."

Dylan dedicates the rest of the lecture to retelling, in fantastical detail, three works of literature that specifically inspired him: Moby Dick, All Quiet on the Western Front and The Odyssey. In his speech's final moments, he acknowledges that "songs are unlike literature, they're meant to be sung, not read," before sharing a telling quote from The Odyssey: "Sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story."

To sum it up, it boiled down to what Socrates, through Plato, told us in the Ion.

SOCRATES: Welcome, Ion. Are you from your native city of Ephesus?
ION: No, Socrates; but from Epidaurus, where I attended the festival of
Asclepius.
SOCRATES: And do the Epidaurians have contests of rhapsodes at the
festival?
ION: O yes; and of all sorts of musical performers.
SOCRATES: And were you one of the competitors-and did you succeed?
ION: I obtained the first prize of all, Socrates.
SOCRATES: Well done; and I hope that you will do the same for us at the
Panathenaea.
ION: And I will, please heaven.........

SOCRATES: I perceive, Ion; and I will proceed to explain to you what
I imagine to be the reason of this. The gift which you possess of speaking
excellently about Homer is not an art, but, as I was just saying, an inspiration;
there is a divinity moving you, like that contained in the stone which Euripides
calls a magnet, but which is commonly known as the stone of Heraclea. This
stone not only attracts iron rings, but also imparts to them a similar power of
attracting other rings; and sometimes you may see a number of pieces of iron
and rings suspended from one another so as to form quite a long chain: and all
of them derive their power of suspension from the original stone. In like manner
the Muse first of all inspires men herself; and from these inspired persons a chain
of other persons is suspended, who take the inspiration. For all good poets, epic
as well as lyric, compose their beautiful poems not by art, but because they are
inspired and possessed.

Oh, do explain. :)

Karma is ones actions, ones doing..

If those actions of thought, speech, and deed, are more towards the selfless, kind, generous variety, then the chances of a successful meditation are greatly enhanced, although not guaranteed.

When is the last time you slept?

I myself drink Miller High-life. My meditation may be a little tipsy, but eventually I sober up to the truth, as Miller does make us high, and lively. Provided we have plenty to meditate on.

You can cut the bullsh!t and just say that you think you're more selfless than me, and that's why I don't have the same experience as you during meditation. :)

If you can't say what you mean then I don't have time for you.

I prefer to err on the side of compassion. Clearly, something is wrong with him.
