Here is an interesting talk critiquing both Materialism and religion and the harm they do. Make of it what you will. For it is Materialism that wants to sell you something, (not I) that and materialistic religions too.

Will Due Posted November 18, 2021 #1328 Share Posted November 18, 2021 (edited) In it's most profitable sense, when meditating, it's not "nothingness" that's encountered. Instead it's "everythingness". 4.7 "Can you really realize the true significance of God’s indwelling? Do you really fathom what it means to have an absolute fragment of the absolute and infinite Deity, the Universal Father, indwelling and fusing with your finite mortal natures? When mortal man fuses with an actual fragment of the existential Cause of the total cosmos, no limit can ever be placed upon the destiny of such an unprecedented and unimaginable partnership." As long as I can remember when I started to have thoughts, consciousness, I have never stopped having thoughts. And No One will ever make me stop thinking. Like never-old Mick says; If you start me up, I'll never stop. No one can stop what God started. I have seen God, daily. Every time I see my reflection in a reflective surface, I see the likeness of God. Have no thoughts, look in a mirror, as that is all the meditation one needs to see the image, as that is all that is granted us to see of God. As far as being able to gaze on the Original, only Jesus, His only Begotten Child, has seen the face of God, the Original. And if you think that by stopping your thoughts you will see God, as He really is, then you are truly crazy, and not conscious of your insanity.

And, "Know thy first the Kingdom of GOD, and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto thee." And, ".....Then works that I do he shall do greater still." So, by Christs own words, you are Divine, you may know this Divinity, and, you shall do greater works yet. Your religious fundamentalism is as bad as the materialistic scientism. And anti-Christ. One can only wait, in the present moment, to see, feel, for ones self. Its really a beautiful thing, and yet "nothingness", it is not. In either case, it's certainly not god. 1

How can you study with a delusional mind? You are a prisoner to madness, in that state. And you are bound to believe what you read, in a delusional state. And as far as hallucinations, one needs no mind for that, as it's all the work of a brain. Ask Timothy Leary, he'll take you up, and bring you back down the same day. And all you'll see up there that day, is Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. The same Lucy Dante saw.

As I have said many times, thoughts, and ones narrative, although ultimately speaking Unreal, may lead one nonetheless, to the Gates of Heaven. Once at those gates, all thoughts, all narratives must be dropped, so one may enter, and abide with THAT.

I was commenting on your post entry #1309 I noted that you had quoted CH, however that was all that it was showing, since you made no response/comment to the quote, as the response section was blank. And I thought you were being witty, showing us a picture of a state of thoughtlessness (you stopped your thoughts, but did not see God) Blank. Perhaps I took too much for granted, thinking you had stopped your thoughts, saw no God, and therefore gave us a spirited blank stare.
