Biden's approval drops to low of 43% following Afghanistan pullout

Amid the chaos of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, President Biden's approval rating slid to just 43% in the latest NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll.

That is down 6 percentage points from a survey conducted in July and is the lowest mark for Biden in the poll since taking office. The decline is principally due to independents — just 36% of them approve of the job he's doing, a 10-point drop.

That a majority of independents now disapprove of his performance is bad news for Biden and Democrats. They're a key swing group, one Biden won in 2020 but who now think he's off track.

The most significant drop coming form Independents.

43%? Thats Trump level approval.... "The worst President ever.", according to some.

Like I've said before... Give Biden time.

Once the 4+ Trillion more debt gets flung into the fire, I'd be surprised if we don't collapse into another recession. The last time inflation was this high was just before the 2008 crash.

Let's see how popular he is when people are loosing their homes, jobs, and savings. While he increases taxes to hand out more hand outs.

Meanwhile Joe heads back to Delaware to recharge his batteries. Country can lead itself for a couple days, I guess.
