62% of Americans believe US troops will have to return to Afghanistan to fight terrorism: poll

I believe it when Biden allowed the terrorists opening our borders to have them come in  and the Afghanistan`s people bringing them into our  country must not who these people really are by netting what they are. Some don't have paper work of what they really are and can attack our country again; Trump would `nt have allowed it  in the first place

Al-Qaeda Could Be a Year Away from Reorganizing Enough to Be Significant U.S. Threat (msn.com)

Antony Blinken, testifying three days after the 20th anniversary of September 11 terrorist attacks that led to the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, provided assessments that Al-Qaeda could reorganize enough to threaten the U.S. in as little as a year, the Associated Press reported.

Well, there’d be a first time for everything, last time we went to Afghanistan it was to protect poppy fields.

In 18 months, visiting at least 20 different bases, I never saw a poppy field..

Bargram AFB will be taken over by the Chinese and they will have access to our own weapons left behind.
If the US wants to duplicate their effort of invasion as in 2002, they'll be fighting more than just the Ruling Taliban.

I think the US is quite willing to leave Afghanistan to the Afghanees, providing they don't export terrorism or permit anyone else on their soil to export it.  That being said, ISIS is still around.

We need to stop being the worlds mercenaries and STOP fighting for the freedom of people that won't fight for it themselves. If a people deserve to be free then they will fight for it. Helping is one thing but we tend to just do it for them and in the end they hate us and fold up the second that we are done doing the dying for them.

But the US went there to stop terrorism, they didn't go there to 'free' anyone.

Once taken, there was an effort to rebuild the nation. What, do you just leave the second part out?

Or do you just 'bomb them back into the stone age' and then leave them alone?

The effort to rebuild a Islamic nation with western ideals failed miserably.

The original mission was over the day Bin Laden was killed back in 2011.

The problem is the Biden administration lied, said 100-200 Americans were left in Afghanistan now they are saying 5000 and who knows what or how high real number is;

BOMBSHELL: Blinken Just Told Us How Many Biden Really Left Behind in Afghanistan

Some are saying that leaving Americans behind was intentional, that they are Taliban bait, when they start holding them hostage, torturing them and killing them, and they will,  that will be all it takes and the American military industrial complex will be set for another 20 years.

In my professional opinion the Democrats will loose next year.

But, Biden if he hopes to be re-elected has got to go 4 years without an attack that will be blamed on his surrender. Only one will need to happen, and he is effectively finished. There is no way on Earth he would recover from it.

The real problem is the numbers seem rather ridiculous.

Since the mass evacuations began on Aug. 14, approximately 116,700 people have been airlifted out of Afghanistan. About 122,300 people have been evacuated since the end of July, including about 5,500 U.S. citizens and their families.

Seriously. FFS. How many people are claiming to be American or supporters? Every bloody person in Afghanistan? What are so many people doing there when the US wasted twenty years on a war they lost anyway?
