Eldorado Posted September 26, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2021 Young people in the UK are twice as likely as older people to pray regularly, a new survey has found. Some 51% of 18 to 34-year-olds polled by Savanta ComRes said they pray at least once a month, compared with 24% of those aged 55 and over. It also found 49% of the younger age group attend a place of worship every month, compared with 6% of over-55s. The associate director of Savanta said the numbers could reflect the move to online worship during the pandemic. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-58681075
+and-then Posted September 26, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2021 The OT is FULL of the proof that pain and suffering brings people away from their delusions that they're in control. Or, as Samuel Johnson famously quipped: “Depend upon it, sir, when a man knows he is to be hanged in a fortnight, it concentrates his mind wonderfully.”

You no doubt rejected a load thinking well thats not right. A child`s mind doesn`t have the issues of an adults meaning they are more unbiased and can better see things for what they actually are. So what happens when a child encounters a woke parent, a woke teacher, or sees a woke politician? I think thats why there is an upsurge in younger people being religious. Thankfully as adults die off, so do their views, and the present politics of today will not be those of tomorrow.

And that's exactly why... "Unless you seek entrance into the kingdom with the faith and trusting dependence of a little child, you shall in no wise gain admission. And what is this kingdom anyway? He always liked to speak of the kingdom as “the business of finding God." Edited September 26, 2021 by Will Due 1

quiXilver Posted September 26, 2021 #6 Share Posted September 26, 2021 Hmm, younger more likely to pray than over 55's... and over 55's are more likely to die than younger. That's settles it. God is real and prayer works. (unless it's for a 1967 corvette... cuz i tried)

The 69 model is almost as valuable and, interestingly, so are the 2019 Z06 and the 2020 Stingray C8 Try praying for one of those . 1
