Many nesting birds with young will attack anything that comes near.

.... that might pose as a threat.

Drones are very noisy and may appear as some weird and agressive bird.

No wonder these ravens attacked it.

I've been run off by crows many times and I was no threat.  I'm on the ground and the nest is 40 feet up a tree.  They can be very territorial.

You are a human.

Humans shoot crows for whatever reason.

Humans shoot nests to get rid of the 'pests'.

They chase you off because you are a human.

It's not rocket science.

Nobody shoots crows in the middle of a city.

No. They do in rural areas.

That's why many crows migrate to cities where they feel more safe.

Despite that, they still don't trust people one bit, and will try to chase them off during breeding time.

An understandable behaviour.

It's got nothing to do with humans, they chase every other kind of animal off.  Seen them dive bombing dogs.

When I fly my drone (DJI Mavic Air 2) I try to be cautious around birds, especially raptors.

Dogs, cats, yes: potentially dangerous animals. Like humans.

You can’t blame the Crow.

We are seeing the future people! I’m sure in time those buzzing drones will be buzzing everywhere, delivering junk to us.
