Uhhh no.  This story hasn't come out in a vacuum.  The fall-out of the SAS war-crimes investigation is still-ongoing.  Child soldiers and humanitarian crises, lead to problems of refugees and children in detention.  And we have a history of splitting families that might be best avoided.

Who are you saying is a beneficent dictator in the those nations where a category 1 permit has been approved?

Come on, you`ve jumped from Australia to the UK special forces.

If you think Australian arm sales to specific African countries is wrong, then stay on the specifics and state your reasons why. It has nothing to do with the UK. You cannot lump unconnected arguments in, show war crimes in those specifically those nations.

If war crimes existed the UN would already have those countries sanctioned.

So some in America, a country which has the largest arms export industry, are calling the Australians immoral for selling ammunition?

Or, could it be, they wanted the contract?

LOL, no, not for that,  for being two faced liars, and it has nothing to do with Australian population, only the gvmnt.

I didn't mention the UK.

The SAS are UK.

We have a SAS as well, and they’re being investigated for war crimes.
The usually “our boys, right or wrong” brigade including some commentators here from America, have called it a witch-hunt and suggested we should be profusely thanking them for their service and ignoring any suggestion of atrocities because apparently soldiers are above being held to account.
